These are without a doubt way better quality bags than the current LV. The zipper, craftsmanship etc from the vintage bags are top notch

I actually was gifted a LV denim bag 10 years ago but had no idea. Me being a 12 years old kid hated the hot pink strap and it was too big on me anw. But recently I was decluttering my closet. I was studying abroad for 4 years and I brought my clothes back with me. So new in old out. I found the denim bag with LV all over it in the pile and was 😮 stunted. Me being a freshly graduated has no idea I have a designer bag. And the bag is really my jam right now. I was considering getting a tote from MJ in denim but now I have the LV. So yay for money saved. And tbh after being buried for almost 10 years, it looks pristin. The leather exterior looks unbelievably new. The quality of luxury goods back then was phenomenal. I know Karl Lagerfeld and LV are not in the same rank but my KL leather looks bad even though I always treat it so gently and it also sits still most of the time 😂 I think I truly dig myself a treasure. I love watching bag lovers and have been for a few months but have no knowledge about the further past of the industry. I had to gg the name and it is Monogram Denim Sunburst PM.
Gorgeous pieces!! I can’t believe you got the last piece for 600$, that is amazing! I agree with you regarding the term “quiet luxury”. If I hear one more person telling me that turning your bag backwards to hide the logo makes it quiet luxury I am going to loose my mind!!! 😂😜

Kangaroo leather is the most amazing leather. Most scratches will rub out with the warmth and oil from your hand. Lasts forever and just nothing ever happens to it. Lucky you for finding these special pieces

I love all of your unboxings but there is something extra special about these vintage pieces! 😍 I think because we are of similar age and I remember these pieces coming out originally and falling in love with them myself. I wasn’t able to purchase back then but there are a few that have now made their way into my collection and I feel exactly the same way about them arriving “home” as you do! ❤️

Love,love, love ur 1st murakami piece😍 Would love to get one if i can, so can u share the link where u found it, also some idea on what the price range is & approx cost of refurbishment(i realise that depends on the condition & how much needs replacing etc), but just an idea of what cost i'd be looking at. Loved seeing all the new to you pretties! I love the compact first crossbody you had repaired. The black background had such a sheen to it, really beautiful! I don’t have but five LV bags but did set my sights on getting a green Neo speedy denim some time ago, knowing how rare it is compared to the blue and pink ones. I waited until l found one that spoke to me and said that’s the one! Especially at $1500.00. I bought it from the Japanese market and l couldn’t be more pleased. So clean inside and out. You will find “that one” one day! Thanks for sharing your journey with us as l learn so much from you!

I just knew you were going to pull out the green mini Pleaty. 💚They are all so cute. I am always so careful with my pens in my bags but recently I was at my neurosurgeon's and filling in forms and I had to get my private health and Medicare cards out of my new medium Kiragami pouch and I was very shaky and nervous trying to wrangle everything and I got pen on the inside of the pouch. I could have cried. I nearly did cry as I was feeling so ill. The one and only time I have marked a piece. I might sound silly but it just wasn't a good day. Much love. Jenni. XX

I have done a video on repairs before. My biggest tip to just to get a quote for the work you want done.

I have that wallet! I love it. I actually called it my covid wallet as I didn’t feel good about wiping all my emprente leather wallets but was okay with this one. You will love this wallet. I am back into my emprente one - and a full one at that. Always love seeing your collection grow. Did you get the cousin wallet?

I use fountain pens, so they are all in cases in or our of bags. Except for my Schon DSGN pocket 6 which is designed to live in a pocket. I love seeing all these beauties. I love multi the best. All the Murakamis are delicious. I wwish they'd do the crazy daisy again

are repairs at LV reasonable?
I think they are, but it depends on how much work you want.
When you do repairs, would you mind sharing the cost. I have only had a handle replaced on my vintage bag which was not too pricey. I know you have a lot more done. tia
I’ll try to be better with this but I’m very aware that repair prices change depending on the amount of work and when you are quoted. So any prices I provide will be a basic guide.

Hi, love your videos! What a collection ! I’ve just started buying vintage LV and went into Sydney LV and they told me they won’t repair a bag that I bought pre-loved, they will only repair if I’m the original owner (ie bag I bought in store) They said it’s a new policy.
Wondering if this has been your experience?
That’s not a new policy, it’s been a line they’ve used for years, but isn’t exactly true. Just tell them you got it overseas years ago or inherited it.

You need to start by contacting Louis Vuitton customer service or going into store and getting a quote for the work you want done. Once you accept the quote and negotiate the work, then it’ll be sent off for repair.
