- It's day 3 of the biggest race of the year and it is time for Lucas Oil sportsman series Stock & Super Stock eliminations. We walk through the pits and talk to some racers while getting more action from the starting line and half track. An $80k Comp Eliminator payout courtesy of Rooftec also peaks our interest.

I can't believe how empty the bleacher were for the Stock and Super Stock eliminations, to me they are some of the best classes. Nice to see "Prez" Don Kennedy, that's what me and Kip called him. 🤣😂😆

Why the stagger start, other than one car expected to be slower or faster…like why do we have it ?
Yes when cars are in different classes it is a handicapped start.
@@driverinterviews Thanks. I assume some classes do not have enough entries, so, race elsewhere !
@@juliojames5986 It is very common to race against someone not in your class. We are placed on a bracket, much like ncaa bball, and if you are in different classes you actually predict your own time and then it is first to the finish line without going quicker than that time. It is really cool when a 14 second car races an 8 second car and the head start is huge.
