Xtracycle eStoker Review - Long Tail Cargo eBike

A new addition for Xtracycle, the eStoker has 24" wheels front and rear. It's comfortable on and off the road due to it's wide tires. This bike is a very capable eCargo bike whether you're carrying kids, the groceries or both! Hope you enjoy the video.

Nice to see the mounting of the bike. As a short legged rider I don’t understand why they don’t make all cargo bikes step through and low cargo. Tilting the bike at all can cause it to topple pretty easy

Hi there, I'm wondering if you would mind sharing how tall you are? I'm trying to figure out some rider specific info in terms being able to ride the EStoker being 5'6". I know it had a much higher step over than their other models. If you have any insight on this I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm sure it's a great bike, but if you like this style of bike then why not get the Surly Big Easy? I think it has better styling and you get a frame that is actually a different size and doesn't look silly on you.

There are many differences between this and the big easy. One of the big ones is the accommodations for kids. It has a double kickstand which is great for loading and unloading kids. Overall the Xtracycle platform is much more mature and developed whereas the Big Dummy platform is an iteration of that. If you want an off-road capable bike that’s okay at carrying kids the Big Easy is great, if you want a bike more capable of carrying kids with the ability to opt for a high speed motor I would go with the eStoker. I hope to eventually do a roundup of all the long tail bikes, but I hope that helps to explain that both bikes have their advantages.

I’ll do my best. I hope to do individual reviews of them, but I would choose the Boost if you could wait as it will have the Gen 4 Speed motor which can’t be beat imo

Oh yeah. The Surly Big dummy is way better and the best longtail bike. Takes more abuse than any other and keeps going :3
