  • 7 FREE Printable Templates for grief art projects: danicatheartist.com/project-gr... ... People go through emotional seasons that mirror nature's seasons. It's just that our seasons aren't all that straightforward. You might recognize which season you're in right now (scroll down for summaries), or you may need help identifying what you're feeling.
Knowing your season is useful because it brings a sense of normalcy to what you're going through (ie, "I'm in an emotional winter. This is what I'm supposed to be doing/feeling. It won't last forever."). It can also help you figure out what activities and responsibilities are most healthy and helpful for you in this season.

SEASONS SUMMARY (Which season are you in? Comment below!):
    - Spring: Everything is new and exciting! Growth is happening and you're feeling more like yourself. Periodic "storms" might feel frustrating to you.
    - Summer: You're thriving and beginning to see the "fruits" of things you've been working towards. This season might includes some chaos and busyness too.
    - Fall: It feels like you're slowly losing everything you've worked so hard for. You feel the need to rest/recover but are unable to do so with your current life circumstances.
    - Winter: a forced shut down due to illness, separation, or loss. You feel isolated from others and also want to withdraw from anything social. You're not sure if this season will ever end.

Love how you described winter "everything is spoken in whispers" and that your friend zoomed in on the dirt commenting that the "beauty is in the hidden places."

Those dark seasons get a bad wrap but they’re integral to the life of that plant.
