I was thinking the same thing...I've been on the fence about spending so much $ for setting powder and she def helped me decide not to splurge since I do have dark circles
me either i only use it on light complexion skin with out darks circles
vanessa la descarada been trying so hard to love the Laura Mercier one cause i have it and i need to use it up until I tried the Ben Nye one. The Mercier just highlights my dark circles more

I was pretty curious about the RCMA and I totally agree that while everyone seems to have their favorite out of all three of these brands, it really does ultimately come down to skin town. I looooove how the banana powder looks on people with darker skin but I just can't wear it! I'm stuck with Laura Mercier or RCMA.
I realize this was months ago but just wanted to let you know just in case you didn't know Ben Nye the company that makes the banana powder makes other shades of powders.

Girl I totally agree I don't like the Laura mercier powder. It makes my under eye looks grey. Like Yara Atalla said it's probably because of our middle eastern skin

Ben nye is literally the best thing thats happened to me. The yellow tones really take away any black circles under the eyes i love it I dont like the Laura Mercier either. I actually prefer the ben nye and then the chanel loose powder and theeeeen maybe laura. and yes to too faced foundation :D
I use the Ben Nye banana powder everyday and it's the best! A lot of fair people don't like it because it shows up yellow but it works great with medium to deep skin tones

Thanks Sadia! Great first video. I just purchased the Ben Nye powder in Fair to match my pinky whiteness. The Laura Mercier didn't quite do it for me either because it left just a cakey layer I didn't expect. Good job emphasizing the blending as well because you are always blended to a T on your Instagram. 😁🌸

Some of the things that they use I would never use on my medium skin tone! I look forward to more of your tutorials!
That contour via foundation trick is so good. I used to do that too before I just gave up and just ended up buying contouring products just to be extra lol! 💙

A good trick that I've been using for a few weeks is, baking with the laura mercier translucent powder and then dabbing the laura mercier secret brightening powder on top, it literally looks so amazing!!! Ps love the video, so excited for more❤❤❤

Oh btw I think it came out after this video was posted but Ben Nye makes a luxury powder for lighter skin tones with a more pink complexion, its the Rose Petal one. It's also good for brightening up and concealing dark circles under the eyes because it has a slight pink tone to it. Hope this helps. (:
