    Our buddy Matt would announce that restroom as having a "Prime P--ping position" LOL!!! That bath area is awesome!
    I'm showing my age but I like the honey oak wood. In honor of the late Tom T Hall... "It's old dogs and children and watermelon wine.....and older coaches too" Off the subject but I had Tom in my car for a ride one evening......what a Southern Country Gentleman.....he will be missed.

    I love that fact that it has no slides. Great BIG Wardrobe. Day and night shades. Metal over over the burners, instead of glass. The bathroom big. The vanity has enough room for my electric tooth brush and electric water flosser. A cover! That is great as well. That's a BIG step up to the driver's seat.

    Reminds me of Grandma Margaret my ex-inlaw she had a few leaks also, lol. Actually I think they had one very similar to this one and they liked it and had no problems with it. It would be nice to take on a trip like Alaska because it is still solid but cheaper than beating a new camper up on the trip.

    How much fun would this be to refurbish into a tiny home on wheels and explore in? Gas mileage has got to suck but if you're retired and have the time, patience, ability, and some extra cash it would be an absolute blast!

    • @richardkoch8752

      I would budget about $10K to bring it up. It would still be cheap for what you have. At the worse if you have to rebuild the engine it would only cost about three months of payments on a new coach.....then it would run 150,000 miles more.

  • @dinosaur6756
    @dinosaur6756 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    60k miles is a good thing. If it had 16k miles I'd be worried. Especially with diesel engines. Give me a 1999 with a 100k as opposed to one with 20k any day. It's about time someone pointed that out. Well done Josh. Anyways, those pre 2000 Pace Arrows are solid rigs. With a little remodeling, a vinyl plank floor up front, a $40 orbital polisher from Harbor Freight and a day of elbow grease it would be a great 20k rig (including new Toyo tires...23k if you go with Michelin's) Btw, no slides is a plus. Right up my alley.

    There’s nothing on this one that would scare us. Would put on a complete set up tires including spare. As we age some of us start having some blemishes & some get wide bodied 😀. We wouldn’t be afraid to go to the east coast from there, the to home in Texas. 👍👍👍👍on another great video

    I would name it "Paco" When my family was young money was practically nonexistent (poor County Deputy). For our car my mechanic buddy would let us know when he had a good car come in with a blown engine and the owner didn't want to or couldn't afford a replacement engine. I would buy the body, either rebuild the engine or drop in a low mileage engine. We always had good dependable nice looking cars at a bargain price. This Coach reminds me of that. It can be bought for a fair price, budget $10K to bring it back up to Cross Country road worthiness. It will be a bargain compared to new Class A's. Sure it will need more attention along the way......but are new Class A's perfect from the factory? :)
    Add a new sofa, seats etc etc and it would be a modernized "King Of The Road" This would be a perfect project Coach, all the good stuff is there on a sound foundation.

Also restored a 1952 Farmall Cub tractor. This is a project that could be done while you're enjoying it. Just have to learn how to do things and not afraid to try. It looks like a solid coach to begin with which is the key. If it gets too much....unload it :0)

    Name wise I know others will say it but how about "Mary", you know as in "Proud Mary", hahaha...
    I'd say you're asking a fair price overall for what it is but you missed the fact the roof membrane is some small tares/cracks under and around that front AC unit. Sorry to point that out, unless I'm not seeing what I think I am, which is possible of course. You may want to take a look at it but for what you're asking I don't think that's a deal breaker. Personally were I to be interested in buying I might try and beat ya up a little over that as I'd definitely have the roof replaced after noticing that and the hints at past leaks plus that patch. It's just easier considering the age of the old girl to just do it right the first time and not be fighting leaks. That is unless the new owner doesn't really care and just wants a runner to have some fun and doesn't care how long it lasts...
    Great unit at an affordable price with an on point walk through as always, thanks Josh.
    (Other than the roof membrane issues around that front AC that is)...

      @@GWNHomestead , I’ve owned 6 rv’s in the 67 years I’ve been on this earth, and for the price, That in “my opinion” is what I stated. Anytime there is water damage, ( which there was more than one telltale signs if you know what you’re looking at) it’s money to rectify. Cosmetics are easy to spruce up, but structural integrity and mechanics are another ball game. As I stated though, I do not mean any disrespect at all. Im simply stating my opinion and observations from a long time RV owner.
      On the plus side, there are no slides. I have to agree with that.
