Mic Drop is what got me into BTS I miss their old style back then their music was more "beat" then they started to change into a softer type but I do like soft ones though especially Jin solos so I'm like 70% like their songs and like 30% dont like their songs

I think a lot of people have a really wrong image of "K-Pop", there are so many different styles and a lot of it is just fire. People that generally say they hate K-Pop just do so cause they never actually listened to it, me included before I became a Stay😂
I think it's because they assume that k-pop only has "pop" as its genre. So people that don't like pop music in general will not like the cutesy kpop stuff. But boy.. when they get into the rock side of kpop, that's when all hell breaks loose. 😂

I recommend you the latest BTS solo songs:
1) JungKook - Standing next to you, 3D (Pop)
2) Agust D - Daechwita, Haegeum, Amygdala (It's the rap trilogy, lyrics are insane)
3) V - Slow Dancing, Rainy Days (R&B, Jazz with his deep soulful voice)
4) Jimin - Set me free pt. 2, Like Crazy (very different interesting songs with his super high voice)
5) J-Hope - Arson, More (rap)
6) RM - Wild Flower (Rap, lyrics are insane)
7) Jin - Astronaut (pop song with Coldplay)
All these solos represent styles of the members. They are VERY different from each other. That's why I recommend to watch it all. You'll be definetly amazed.

Fake Love is what officially got me obsessed with kpop. And then I listened to BTS's older music and absolutely LOVED their debut era. In general, I prefer the more hard hitting kpop songs
I became a K-pop stan in 2014 and Bts was my first ever group and honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way, their songs r lit so good, the rappers know how to deliver and vocals never disappoint 🙏
I watched all your reactions to Kpop so far and I appreciate them. Just have one suggestion (or maybe a request?). Have the subtitles on and pay more attention to what's going on on the screen! I know you're vibing with the music and it's great. But there's so much meaning behind the lyrics and their correspondence with the scene is just crazy. It's just a shame you don't get to experience that feeling.
I think Dynamite and Butter might be songs you wouldn’t enjoy because the style is a little different, but DNA is similar to this one as well as Black Swan and Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Those three are really good

People who have never really listened to K-Pop have a very cliché image of what it is. But there are almost as many different styles as there are groups. And K-Pop groups are very complete, they have amazing singers, amazing rappers and amazing dancers.

Also there are a lot of hidden image's within the MV that refer to the BU (Bantang universe) which is a story that bit of which are found in MV's, some lyrics, in the webtoon, books etc that tell a story. So you'll not not understand the water, fire or Jin trying to save the flower as the window all blow in or the fact the Rapper J Hope is laying on a bed of Snickers bars.
BTS is the one made me interested in korean hip hop. I am a fan of hip hop since 2000s (eminem, Outkast,Dr. Dre, JAY-Z, etc.) but honestly cannot find good rap in kpop group before BTS. Yes kpop groups rap but idk, it doesn't sounds hip hop. No flow. BTS rappers (RM, SUGA, J-Hope) is what we called the trinity of kpop rappers in korea. Glad you enjoyed their song.
Love the reaction, very similar to mine, I had a bad first impression because I only had heard permission to dance and thought all their songs were like that, and it wasnt really my style, but later found out they have very good songs. Fake love is so beautiful and the lyrics are amazing too. Please react to I need you original version, mic drop steve aoki remix, black swan, or maybe check out there solo songs, V's slow dancing(or his tiny desk performance, it was so good), AgustD's Daechwita, and RM's wild flower and Jimin's like crazy are in my top picks, but they have so many good songs, all of them, solo or as a group. I dont recommend their english songs as they are more "pop" and were meant to uplift people during quarentine, they are fun, just not meaningful or anything.

Check out “Snooze” by Suga (agust d). Suga is from BTS. In Snooze you will discover WOOSUNG of The Rose. His vocals in Snooze are extraordinary. Woosung’s Phase Me is great. Back to Me from the Rose… they have TONS of beautiful songs.
Please watch Run BTS live performance you'll be blown away! Also, the dance of their ON Kinetic Manifesto MV is fire! The first time I watch it my mouth was on the floor the entire MV!! All of their dances for me are so satisfying to watch compared to other kpop groups.

of course they Rap they have 2 underground Rappers and their 3rd Rapper was also part of the Hip Hop Culture as a street dancer and learnt to Rap from the other 2 Rappers. They are 7 Song Writers 7 Composers 7 Producers (of which one is an awarding winning Producer).
I've noticed no one has explained what they song is about it's about you can't love someone else without first learning to accept and love yourself. So if you are constantly changing yourself to be by another that's not love it's Fake Love. It's from their Love Yourself Trilogy of albums exploring the concept of Self Love in order to be able to show love to other eg love other's as you would love yourself.

BTS the GOATs. RM and Suga are the best rappers in kpop right now. Most rappers in the industry are trained rappers. Suga and RM were doin it WAY before they became idols. So they've been doin it for a minute. Suga is UNREAL. His flow, his lyrics, his beats. He got it all.
I would recommend putting on subtitels since their songs have really deep beautiful meanings

I have a love-hate relationship with "Fake Love" because this song is so beautiful, the lyrics, the meaning, the symbolism and everything but this is one of those song that can physically and emotionally hurt me like literally, I cry because of this song 😭

I love the way you were so surprised it would be a good song. Also I recommend “dynamite” and “butter”, but those two songs are very different from the one you just heard, but they’re also good. I also recommend “run BTS” and “mic drop Steve aoki remix” they also have many more beautiful songs, like “butterfly” “spring day” and “run” but most of their songs aren’t like the ones you’ve listened to so far, they have more of a soft vibe and there’s much more singing, because you’ve heard more stray kid songs and they focus more on rap but they also include singing while BTS focus more on singing but they also include rap, but the “run BTS” and “mic drop Steve aoki remix” are harder going and rap songs. I agree with others, wouldn't recommend Dynamite or Butter if you are new to BTS and suggest going into their older songs first. Just to name a few ;) off the top of my head: Mic Drop (Steve Aoki remix), ON, (Burning up) Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Not Today, Run, Danger (oldie but still so good!), and a slower one I love is Pied Piper (there is a good one on YT that is a live 4k performance).
