I have never stayed off property at WDW but this video definitely made me consider checking out some of the good neighbor hotels next time I visit Orlando
Loved the video. And just wanted to chime in that my whole household had COVID over the holidays, except me. And we weren’t careful about isolating within the house bc we were all exposed together and assumed we were all doomed anyway. I had about 5 negative tests. So I’ve unscientifically declared myself invincible and will let you know how that goes. I haven’t attempted any truly death defying acts. Yet.
It's a gorgeous hotel but I find a little bit odd that they still use the stick-in key slot. The hotel I was at (Universal's Cabana Bay) had the type where you just slap the card on the black plate and it unlocks the door. It is contactless so I could do it with the key still in my wallet.
ok so it is 22 degree here in ny state . i really enjoy seeing you Lindsey and your framily having such a good time in Florida. i think you might remember me from stage right props at wicked back in 2018 Just wanted to check in and say hello! and take care and enjoy the transition. from NYC and wicked to a warmer life at the moment in FLA i wonder if you will make it to Key West one of my favorite destinations in FLA ?
We are heading back to the Waldorf and Disney in two weeks to celebrate our daughter's first birthday. How warm was the pool this time of year? And were the restaurants back open normally? We traveled here in August and found some things were still closed.
Almost everything is open these days! Most hotel kids clubs are still closed. The Pool was cooler than the disney resort pools, but when we were there it was MUCH colder outside. I think you'll be good to go! Happy birthday to your baby girl!

we have stayed here before it is very nice but if you are looking for a true luxury experience the 4 seasons at Golden Oak is truly on another level!

Free breakfast? I am diamond also, but since Covid all Hilton has done away with blast domestically. Is the Waldorf the exception?
It’s not the exception. We just stayed at a doubletree in Savannah. Had $30 credit each day for breakfast Who knows.
