    Big brother peacock is always watching! Fantastic review of the WA Orlando! Also, I would totally watch a 5min video of table-side caesar salad.

      Strangely, I would watch it too. I’m not sure what that says about us. It was pretty fun to watch though.

    Hi Brandon, first time subscriber here. I like the style you narrate your videos: they are very informative, point out flaws when they need to be pointed out, and most importantly, you keep the viewers engaged. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to your future video uploads.

      Thanks so much. We have a ton of travel planned for 2022 so there will be more resort reviews upcoming. Going to New Orleans in a couple of weeks. I appreciate the feedback. My goal is to cover the news/info associated with credit cards. However, I think it’s also important to cover what those points and miles get you. For me, that’s mostly travel. I wanna give people a real life look at the properties o visit without all the fluff. Every property has its issues. I’m ant to point those out so others can make a more informed decision about where to stay. I really enjoyed our stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando. Couple things I wish they would improve, but overall a very positive experience. Glad to have you on board as a subscriber. Thanks for watching!

    Great review!
    Yes, please post Caesar's Salad video! I have never heard a bad thing about that restaurant.
    I am supposed to be at WDW right now, but am laying in a hospital bed with 2 broken legs because of a wreck last Saturday night. Now I am thinking about my replacement trip in the future and may have to work in a Bull and Bear dinner.
    Keep up the great videos!

      So sorry to hear about your wreck. Here’s hoping you recover quickly. Life always gets in the way just when we have everything planned out doesn’t it? I HIGHLY recommend Bull and Bear. Exceeded even my high expectations. I may have to post the salad video. You’re the second person that has mentioned it.
      Get well soon and please keep me posted when you try Bull and Bear. I’d love to hear about your experience. Thanks for watching!

      No problem. We plan on staying here again possibly this year. Go lots of points/certs to burn. Maybe I can talk my way into another meal at Bull and Bear for my birthday.

    Brandon! Thanks for much for the review! I travel to Orlando (for Disney) many times a year and have been considering checking out this resort! Very helpful and comprehensive review.

      @@thebrandonboydshow Will do! Thinking of just making it an over night in the middle of a trip to just relax at the pool and enjoy the resort. For being October 2021 it was MASSIVELY busy in Orlando then so where we’re all of the people?! Sounds like the day time is a nice time to be there!

    Brandon. I enjoy your channel and wish you much success. We are heading to Orlando in April. This looks like a nice option but so many points. How can I determine the best Orlando area Hilton to leverage diamond status for my family? Maybe this is it if I get the aspire card?

    • @thebrandonboydshow
      @thebrandonboydshow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. In general, Hilton properties require more points. You’ll also notice that Hilton card signup offers often give more points. The Aspire card does give you automatic diamond status, but I wouldn’t get the Aspire just for that. You do get a free night certificate up front and you also get the $250 resort credit than can be used on go toward the room rate at Hilton properties that participate. We also stayed at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs property. That was very nice and conveniently located to Disney Springs.
      I would consider the Waldorf Astoria if you have a family with growing kids that would love the amenities mentioned. It’s perfect for that. It really depends on what kind of trip you want to take and what you are looking for run a property. We enjoyed the Waldorf and would recommend it highly. Keep me posted on what other properties you are considering. I have personal experience with the two i mentioned. Are you open to other brands as well or do you want to stick with Hilton? Thanks for watching!

    Question for you. You stayed 5 nights and used all miles, which is our plan. So you charged $250 on your aspire card and since it its a participating resort, you got the 250 Resort Credit? Amazing.

    5 nights without kids? The real question is how the heck did you pull that off ?

    • @thebrandonboydshow
      @thebrandonboydshow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Magic! But seriously, we do it pretty frequently. We take the kids on several trips per year. And we take some on our own. Keeps a nice balance for us. And the kids will survive not going on every trip. However, I’m sure at some point they’ll claim they never get to do anything.

    Thanks for the informative video. Are you allowed to save several days of food credit to pay for one expensive meal? Could you make a video about earning credits?

    • @thebrandonboydshow
      @thebrandonboydshow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. I just checked in to this property today and asked them personally about your question. The $50 food credit we receive must be used daily and DOES NOT roll over. If you have any other questions about the property while I’m here, please let me know. I’m glad the video was helpful!

    • @thebrandonboydshow
      @thebrandonboydshow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s fair. I actually think FREE is an understatement for the card. The aspire is a money maker for me. Also, in a video I put out a week ago I received a $300 credit on the card for renewing basically cutting the annual fee down to $150. The food was awesome though. I can’t recommend it enough.
