The day I got know that the NEET issue had reached the SC,the first thing which came to my mind why not JEE-the same injustice we faced,the trauma we had to go thru is something others couldn't understand! 27 JAN S1 was such a disaster,I literally lost faith in myself,in the nation's system as well!! Sir I think, by now, most of the 2024 jee aspirants are exhausted by now, either they have already decided to move on and choose another college thinking there won't be any justice or, they've qualified the exam. JEE Advanced retry also should be extended 1 year 😢. In the past people were able to give it even more times . At least there should be an extra attempt like JEE Mains

I refuse to believe that if cheating happened in NEET then there is no way cheating was not done in JEE MAINS since both were conduct by NTA. If NEET students can get paper before exam by giving money I don't think JEE students are not given the same offers by scammers.

I have a lot of sympathy for my neet brothers and sisters and hope they get justice but humne bhi bohot mehnat kari thi fir bhi iss luck based system ki wajah se hamare saath bura hua. Agar saari shifts ka cutoff high jaata toh samaj aata. But jab kuch bacho ke 151 marks par 99%ile ban rha hai aur kuch ke 236 tab bohot bura lagta hai. Neet mai toh saare bacho ka ghata hua but jee mai kuch ka fayda aur kuch ke saath itna bura. Why so much unfairness for jee aspirants?

The papers weren't as easy as suggested, and uneven student distribution affected the results. If 1,563 aspirants get a re-attempt, students from the 27th and 29th shifts should too. The April attempt was fairer, with consistent marks vs. percentile distribution, even with varying difficulty levels (e.g., 4 April S2 vs. 9 April S2). This consistency highlights the issues with the January attempt's fairness. Regarding the question review, three incorrect physics questions were present in 9S2. Everyone expected them to be corrected, but no action was taken by NTA.

A score difference of 85 marks for 99 percentile in two shifts of same exams clearly shows that nta can't even set a similar difficulty level for different shifts. NTA should learn something from bitsat exam, even though this year even in bitsat there were some shifts which were harder than others but still all the shifts were comparable. If nta is truly a transparent body then along with scorecard should release revised score as well or normalised score as well.

My jee dream ended this year too...I couldn't give jee adv as I scored 92.9 percentile in both sessions and couldn't clear cutoff..hopefully I can do other things better
I'll share what happened emotionally & mentally after the jan attempt , I prepared very hard for JEE for last 2 years and around October - November i completely shifted to mains oriented study and gave my jan attempt. I marked 48 questions (192 marks) and was certain to get a decent percentile and had planned to prepare for advanced for remaining 3-4 months . But when results were announced i was shocked . Mere 95%ile..that was nothing for me ( General male) . Now i had no seat secured and thus my moral was very low. I couldn't focus completely on advanced as i had to first make sure i have a good seat secured. Again i just studied for mains and got a quite good rank in APRIL attempt. But now all i had was 1 month for advanced . All this really made me very sad and doubtful of my prep. Which eventually resulted in i)Not a very good ( expected) rank in mains ii) Advanced not qualified 😔 I know its my mistake majorly , i should have studied harder but i could have scored much more in both the exams but due to all this somewhere my true potential was submerged . No one understands all this , neither my parents nor my friends for others , its just that i didn't study that well so i didn't get results that well .
Brother I can understand your situation please give yourself a chance again if your 12th passed student, you can do much more better it was just that you were at the wrong situations and Mistakes done by NTA. I have written JEE Mains on Jan 30 S2 , I scored 147 marks and my percentage was 96.63 and I written session 2 on Apr 4 S2 , I have got 183 marks and my percentile was 97.63 and my rank is 37k+ , They just destroyed my dreams !! Now I can understand the feeling of Jan 27 S1 aspirants . Edit 1 : Last year , For 97.63 percentile, the rank was around 27k and *now its around 38k* . THIS IS INSANE THERE WAS 10K RANK JUMP ....

I still remember there were many youtubers saying that the 27 s1 paper was just too easy as compared to other shifts andd the ones who couldnt score good percentile were not serious aspirants. I myself had scored 95%ile in jan and 99%ile in april and for real i hadnt done anything special to give a boost of 4 perscentile in my scores. It was just my badluck in jan...

I can't stand seeing so many people giving up without even raising their voice. "NTA se koi ummeed nahi hai", "Answer key drop nahi hui toh ab bhi kya hi hoga", "Humara toh desh hi aisa hai", "The system is rotten from inside out"- all of these are statements that achieve nothing, and in fact aren't even a true reflection of us as students! Guys, did you give up during the JEE prep journey? I am sure you had a million reasons to quit it all, but you only had one to keep going, right? Why are you forgetting that fighting spirit now? Maybe our efforts push NTA towards transparency, maybe they don't. But if we don't even try, toh humne JEE journey se seekha hi kya? Sir please see my comment : I have a point which maybe you can raise for us. I got 98.976%ile, and NTA released the data that how many unique candidates gave the JEE Mains 2024. When I calculated what rank I should get according to that data, it showed around 14.5k, but I got a rank of 16.3k. I was shocked about this. But then I thought that they may have used the scores of maths, then physics and then chem for people having same marks, but even after that I couldn't digest the fact that around 1.8-1.9k students were at the same marks that too around 15k rank, not say 1 lakh rank. So then I mailed NTA, with full proof and just asked how is my rank increased. I gave photo of my %ile, total students (ACC to their press release), and the rank I should have got. But sir aaj tak USS mail ka reply kabhi bhi nhi aya. I am not saying ki anything wrong has happened, maybe actually there were around 2k students in that marks range, but then again the question comes, why no transparency?!

Yes sir totally agree with you on the transparency point. The scores should be provided like jee adv so that at least we should get an official score and percentile from nta to actually know what happened. Cause while calculating scores from those option ids you mentioned scope of error is inevitable. And jan 27th and even 29th shifts deserve a clarification on why this ssort on score difference seen. But still amidst the neet movement I don't think jee could fit in sadly.

The truth is we cant do anything. I scored 190 but stll 98.56 percentile. This whole country is flawed. I request everyone that if you can then take loan and pursue higher education in foreign countries. This country cant give anything to us general candidates so just try to leave this country

It was not our fault that we have assigned the easy shift( easy according to nta). Why nta keep some shift easy some hard, due to which a huge difference of 80+ marks ( about 27% of total marks ) occurs.

Ye rank vs percentile vs marks ka issue jab nta conduct kara rha hai tabse hi hai.Koi naya nhi hai .But ha iss saal ke results ke baad NTA ko koi bhi exam conduct karwane ki responsibility nhi di jani chahiye .
2023 JEE Mains was conducted with 12 shifts for 8.5 lakhs aspirants where as jee mains 2024 was conducted with only 10 shifts for 12 lakhs aspirants which is big flaw.

JEE students are always neglected,I still remember neet syllabus was released earlier than JEE syllabus even though our exam was in January 😢
and jee questions were from that syllabus but neet questions were out of the syllabus too

Agar saari shifts ka cutoff high jaata toh samaj aata. But jab kuch bacho ke 151 marks par 99%ile ban rha hai aur kuch ke 236 tab bohot bura lagta hai. Neet mai toh saare bacho ka ghata hua but jee mai kuch ka fayda aur kuch ke saath itna bura. Why so much unfairness for jee aspirants?
Transparency is mandatory in jee mains otherwise who wants to run in blind race just like cattle...raise for the same!
It's not just about grace marks. The marks vs. percentile calculation for the first four shifts in January was flawed. The papers weren't as easy as suggested, and uneven student distribution affected the results. If 1,563 aspirants get a re-attempt, students from the 27th and 29th shifts should too.
The April attempt was fairer, with consistent marks vs. percentile distribution, even with varying difficulty levels (e.g., 4 April S2 vs. 9 April S2). This consistency highlights the issues with the January attempt's fairness.
Regarding the question review, three incorrect physics questions were present in 9S2. Everyone expected them to be corrected, but no action was taken by NTA.

A score difference of 85 marks for 99 percentile in two shifts of same exams clearly shows that nta can't even set a similar difficulty level for different shifts. NTA should learn something from bitsat exam, even though this year even in bitsat there were some shifts which were harder than others but still all the shifts were comparable.
If nta is truly a transparent body then along with scorecard should release revised score as well or normalised score as well.

I'll share what happened emotionally & mentally after the jan attempt ,
I prepared very hard for JEE for last 2 years and around October - November i completely shifted to mains oriented study and gave my jan attempt. I marked 48 questions (192 marks) and was certain to get a decent percentile and had planned to prepare for advanced for remaining 3-4 months . But when results were announced i was shocked . Mere 95%ile..that was nothing for me ( General male) . Now i had no seat secured and thus my moral was very low. I couldn't focus completely on advanced as i had to first make sure i have a good seat secured. Again i just studied for mains and got a quite good rank in APRIL attempt. But now all i had was 1 month for advanced . All this really made me very sad and doubtful of my prep. Which eventually resulted in i)Not a very good ( expected) rank in mains
ii) Advanced not qualified 😔
I know its my mistake majorly , i should have studied harder but i could have scored much more in both the exams but due to all this somewhere my true potential was submerged . No one understands all this , neither my parents nor my friends for others , its just that i didn't study that well so i didn't get results that well .

I have written JEE Mains on Jan 30 S2 , I scored 147 marks and my percentage was 96.63 and I written session 2 on Apr 4 S2 , I have got 183 marks and my percentile was 97.63 and my rank is 37k+ , They just destroyed my dreams !! Now I can understand the feeling of Jan 27 S1 aspirants .
Edit 1 : Last year , For 97.63 percentile, the rank was around 27k and *now its around 38k* . THIS IS INSANE THERE WAS 10K RANK JUMP ....

I can't stand seeing so many people giving up without even raising their voice. "NTA se koi ummeed nahi hai", "Answer key drop nahi hui toh ab bhi kya hi hoga", "Humara toh desh hi aisa hai", "The system is rotten from inside out"- all of these are statements that achieve nothing, and in fact aren't even a true reflection of us as students!

I have a point which maybe you can raise for us. I got 98.976%ile, and NTA released the data that how many unique candidates gave the JEE Mains 2024. When I calculated what rank I should get according to that data, it showed around 14.5k, but I got a rank of 16.3k. I was shocked about this. But then I thought that they may have used the scores of maths, then physics and then chem for people having same marks, but even after that I couldn't digest the fact that around 1.8-1.9k students were at the same marks that too around 15k rank, not say 1 lakh rank. So then I mailed NTA, with full proof and just asked how is my rank increased. I gave photo of my %ile, total students (ACC to their press release), and the rank I should have got. But sir aaj tak USS mail ka reply kabhi bhi nhi aya. I am not saying ki anything wrong has happened, maybe actually there were around 2k students in that marks range, but then again the question comes, why no transparency?!

Yes sir totally agree with you on the transparency point. The scores should be provided like jee adv so that at least we should get an official score and percentile from nta to actually know what happened. Cause while calculating scores from those option ids you mentioned scope of error is inevitable. And jan 27th and even 29th shifts deserve a clarification on why this ssort on score difference seen.
But still amidst the neet movement I don't think jee could fit in sadly.

It was not our fault that we have assigned the easy shift( easy according to nta). Why nta keep some shift easy some hard, due to which a huge difference of 80+ marks ( about 27% of total marks ) occurs.

Ye rank vs percentile vs marks ka issue jab nta conduct kara rha hai tabse hi hai.Koi naya nhi hai .But ha iss saal ke results ke baad NTA ko koi bhi exam conduct karwane ki responsibility nhi di jani chahiye .

Very important decision that should be considered is subject cutoff in jee mains.
2023 JEE Mains was conducted with 12 shifts for 8.5 lakhs aspirants where as jee mains 2024 was conducted with only 10 shifts for 12 lakhs aspirants which is big flaw.

Thank u Sir for the concern for the JEE aspirants... See i this after two months of the cast ... But not still anything happened... I worry a lot for my child who dreamt of IITM and now ... We lost jope ... He was a sufferer of 29th Jan Shift ... Also as one of the people said students lost their jope due to this while writing the second phase ... No one raise their voice for JEE ... Also no one surely is completely aware of JEE exams ... Even exam centers and the NEET was enlightened in all aspects news , importance,security , appreciation , encouragements n all but no one knows about JEE on the whole ... Which suppresses the young minds who fights to face the Toughest exam thought ... Dreams are broken down ... And hours of hardworks and the loss of entertainments or enjoyments for the age was also ruined ... They led the days with the dream with full stress loaded on their heads ... But not worth it ... Bcoz of The happening as u mentioned Sir
Here's a suggesstion sir, please make a google form comprising of all the pointers you have thought of till now so that what a student thinks is a issue he/she is facing can mark it up and also a section where students can write what issue they have, rather than just commenting on this video lets make things formal so you as well as we students are connected in this 'jee-changing' step with a formal and an organized platform and you too will get some great stats of how many students are really with you and how much support you have gathered till now.
