It's my first time watching a video on this channel, and I must say I'm impressed. Kudos to the team!
Pretty useless trick because usually this type of easy sums never come in exam they used to come before 2018. Nowadays you cannot assume values using options that easily. So guys don't waste time on this video and study properties of determinants and matrices thoroughly.

sir these tricks are easy to watch after or before the exam but during the real exam when u have 4 marks at stake, kuch bhi assume karne se pehle darr lagta hai sir.

Dost you should go for maximum marks in an exam like jee.. And this is what no teacher tells you... There is a pyramidal structure in ranking and it is more favorable to get higher marks... So, if you know basic maths, if you attempted 10-15 question with these tricks and out of them 8 were correct and 7 were wrong, then you get +32-7= 25 marks... You were planning on not attempting the questions, which I have seen my friends who work way harder than me do... So, if you think I am speaking bs, just take 2 mock tests, in 1 mock test attempt it your way and in the other just complete the paper, that is attempt all 75 questions, then you will see the difference in the marks... I dont know why people feel pressure while sitting in an exam hall...
You actually need to develop experience kuki ek baar aise karne pe mere bhi mark gaye the mock test me par experience ke saath samajh aajata hai

The second question is actually conditional (which every question is.. but that was even more).. If it would have been a different expression of variable then u need to change the value of n you put accordingly.. what if you put n=1 and get the determinant= 1.. you can't say A or D for sure..
So every question has its own conditions and one needs to be exceedingly observant to do any q fast
BELLIGERENT APJ u r incorrect. Answer will be 0 for any value of n
@@downz6703 u didn't get my point.. in this specific question, the value of n is immaterial.. And taking n=1 will only make things easier.. I'm trying to say that.. in any other determinant, with the first column with some different expression of r but options remaining the same, u may put n=1 and arrive at answer 1.. then if u r in a hurry, u may choose 1.. And "n" might be the correct ans..
Bcz u had taken n=1.. And determinant came out to be 1..
So it might be 1 for if it's 1 for all values of n..
Or might be n for n was taken to be 1
I just want to say that, one has to be extremely vigil, and be aware of loopholes in questions and whether or not any trivial case can be put..
Equilateral triangles, taking specific values, checking sum of only certain terms to find general expression of sum, there are plenty of such hacks..
But they are hacks bcz they are not applicable in every q, and in an attempt to destroy the q, one may lose time in an inconsequential hack
BELLIGERENT APJ I would like to give u a tip bro. When u get infinite series u should always check for n=2. But if it is not infinite series it can work for mostly all questions unless term is becoming infinite or zero
Last question is really beautiful concept of multiplication of determinants if you solve it using the 'full' approach
