He's obviously adorable, a great storyteller and actor, but can we appreciate the interviewer who is extraordinarily well-prepared, funny and respectful but not fawning on him? That's one fine interview with questions on point. Congratulations. I'm having quite a rough time waiting for the Polish premiere of Another round

I love that he talks about his children and how he took their lives into consideration when Hollywood was brought up. He very openly has talked about his love for his wife, Hanne, and his children and how he loves Denmark. I mean really, who wouldn’t stay in Denmark 🇩🇰 rather than Hollywood? He is absolutely the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen. Love him to pieces and his work is mesmerizing to watch.
If he doesn't get nominated for an Oscar I will riot

This has to be one of the best interviews with Mads. Ms. Riley's skill at making this look and feel like an informal chat instead of just another "work thing" for him is so evident from Mads' chill demeanor. 💕
I've seen other interviews with Riley and she is always fantastic! I'm always disappointed when she isn't the interviewer!
What I love from this interview is that Mads acknowledged the director, the choreographer, co-stars, the writer and also Ida Vinterberg in his answers and I find that very kind and beautiful. In other interviews, I also found him acknowledging the cameramen. It shows how thoughtful of a man he is and it very charming.
About the interviewer herself, I gotta say this is one of the best interview questions that I have watched on Mads/ Another Round. I love how she reacts to each of Mads’s answers without much exaggeration. And smoothly moved from the sad remark on Ida Vinterberg to her next question without appearing as rude or ignorant. She did that gracefully.
It’s a 30 min interview and I don’t mind rewatching it any other day.

What a beautifully open minded, intelligent and engaging and authentic interview and human. So much honest food for thought around what is already very deep and interesting material. It’s nice that actors in this age are able to share meaningful and true insight around their craft to a wide audience.
The interviewer conducted the conversation beautifully. Very well prepared, careful, interesting questions. Needless to say that Mads is a fascinating person, but I thought this woman did a brilliant job and I thoroughly enjoyed the interview thanks to her.
Mads has been one of my favorite actors since I first saw him in King Arthur. So many differing roles, always completely transformed into the role -- he's an inspiration for me to work harder, become better fully falling completely into my roles to give the audience the moments they 'll remember & feel long after the film is over, in characters both believable & larger than life at once. Every one of his roles shows the humanity of his characters; he has a knack of showing so much without saying a word that you can glimpse the souls of his characters through the cracks they try to hide.
Very happy to watch this interview (soon as I saw the email notification, I dropped my work, hit play, and only halfway in realized my lunch was burning lol). I hope to meet him, and more hope, to work with him on screen one day soon.

I've always been a fan of Mads Mikkelsen's wonderful acting roles. So glad to watch this presentation.
It's a beautiful film and the final scene is magical and open-ended in a very Kostouritsa way. And it is such a relief to see a film in 2020 that is not trying to preach and be "correct" but just honest and human.
He’s such a sweetheart and I absolutely adore his personality and practically love to hear his stories and thoughts on anything, he’s just so talented, laid back and just adorable, love you Mads!

Huge Congratulations on the WIN of the Oscar for Another Round that followed the nomination earlier this year to Thomas Vinterberg, Mads Mikkelsen, and the entire cast in Memorium - Ida Vinterberg who tragically died as filming began. This life-affirming movie is true excellence in cinema and a tribute to her memory.
It's always nice to listen to a person who talks about what he or she likes to do so much in life... the passion, the enthusiasm, the knowledge.

Well...its a interview, would be awkward If he didnt. But he speaks much less than other guests, so much so that you can see her looking for the next question to continue the conversation. But yeah, great interview. She's always great.

I have not seen a Mad’s film in several years and as a super fan of his acting I have missed his acting terribly. I loved the dancing and especially knowing his background at the end of the film. I would be eager to see more of his films.
