@@Nazio868 a lot of people assume when you put your console vertical the liquid metal pools at the bottom of the chip so the the top doesn't get sufficient cooling and your system will slowly overheat the longer it's in the vertical position while if you lay it horizontal the liquid metal will spread evenly also when your consoles and the vertical position it's easier for dust to get past the vent grills go into the fan while if you lay your ps5 horizontal dust will settle on the plates and you could just wipe the dust off the plates
Vacumming those dust catchers does very little on that day one model unfortunately 😢 the next model had a bigger piece cut out to make cleaning the PSU easier - with this model i would blast air into the back of it and brush the psu holes - they clog so easily
It’s a safety torque screw, I bought a ps5 tool kit off Amazon for 8 bucks that has everything you need to clean it minus the vacuum which you shouldn’t use anyway
I found some solutions helped for me kinda still In( testing process) one way was to connect to a stronger wall outlet. Or get a new power chord( figure 8 ) I got a new power chord and so far the game hasn't shut off on me within 5 to 10 minutes while running.
Keep it away from the carpet use the stand don't put it inside something say a TV stand it will build heat in there and it'll be panting if your really struggling have it upright heat rises it'll ve alot easier for it to escape if all this doesn't work your fan may not ve working or your shit is broke
@@e.0912 it would be pointless to have a dust catcher if you can't vacuum it. yes I agree to the vacuums having static but I'm sure Sony made some kind of protection for the system from the static because if they didn't what's the point of putting dust catchers if you can't clean it
Thanks, this is hands down the worst console I’ve ever owned in terms of durability I’ve had this happen twice now nearly exactly a year apart I don’t recall ever once cleaning my ps3 or 4 from the inside like this.

Lay your console horizontal to minimize dust you're never gonna stop dust from entering your console but yeah I wouldn't ever use a vacuum

You're on the wrong side. Flip the ps5 and there you can remove screws
