Very nice advice. Googling, always always makes things worse for me. I've had dizziness light headedness for years but it got aggravated after COVID. I've learned to not Google and search for answers. But staying positive, grounding breath and small walks always help and are the best treatments! Thank you for such positive answers and vibes ❤🙏
My husband had an 👀eye issue with dizziness not the ear like we thought. Inflammation of the eye muscles cause one eye to stutter and disrupt vision he was treated for a concussion. Also balance therapy. Finally had to use a cane because of his back hurting (unrelated) and BOOM his vision started to settle. I believe using the cane was grounding him and sending the message to the brain that helped retrain the body’s coordination. I hope this helps anyone suffering from this.
'it can feel so completely awful and so completely disorienting' Yes 100% thats how ive been describing my long symptoms for the last year-plus. taste-smell and visual-fatigue/dizziness issues are all so incredibly disorienting its depressing
I had covid a month ago. Fatigue, loss of smell & taste. Feel much better but I’ve been experiencing these dizzy spells. Seems to happen in areas where there are lots of people like supermarkets. I panic a little when it happens. I suddenly feel tired to. Never experienced it before and I’m a little worried when going out in crowded places now.
Ant, sounds like your ear may still be recovering. My best advice is to manage your stress- that will optimize how well your brain recalibrates to any changes in your ear.
@@game1414 within 6-8 weeks if there was an ear injury. I would keep moving as much as possible actually, unless you have a medical contraindication! Exercise, enjoy your life as much as you can, the more you keep moving (without stressing yourself out), the faster the brain will recalibrate if the ear has been inured.
Thanks for the info. I have been experiencing vertigo while driving at night. It’s the only time it happens. Never experienced this before. It’s the craziest feeling. Like I’m on a looping roller coaster and can’t get off. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. So we will see what happens!
Sounds terrifying! Yes, great idea to have a checkup with the doctor first. If nothing seems wrong, and they've done more testing and can't find an explanation, head back to my channel- pretty much all my videos are about dizziness that doesn't have an obvious medical cause!
Dealing with some dizzyness or rather feelings of off balance following a ear infection and almost 3 months of fluid being in my middle ear . The off balance feeling onlu started after the fluid finally all drained. Went to audiologist and my left ear is slightly worse than my left. I was prescribed a 5 day dose of prednisone tapering from 25mg but im afraid of the side effects because ive been having axiety from all of this. Watvhing your video calmed me for a bit and you may be an angel .
I'm experiencing severe dizziness and trouble with concentration. I've been pfiezeres twice and got covid twice. The first time the side effects lasted 5 weeks, this time it feels stronger hopefuly it'll pass again...I was already suffering from tinitus that makes everythinh worse now
I'm very sorry to hear this. In the absence of tissue damage, often the brain will reactivate physical sensations when it is anticipating danger. In other words- the physical symptoms do not necessarily mean that there is something physically wrong.
thank you for the encouraging and positive words, it wasnt sugar-coated, it was real and clear but with good direction and hope. i had dizzy episodes even before getting covid, more of the typical dizziness that you speak of in this video, but after covid i got a constant sort of visual fatigue type of 'dizziness', almost like my eyes and brain are always too tired to focus clearly, i feel like my awareness has dulled, like im not fully present, my attention and awareness and visual is not stable and crisp anymore, its very troubling, feels almost like the weeks after mu heart surgery while i was recovering it felt almost like i was in a dream. i look forward to some doctor visits to see if i can figure out whats going on
Hi Annie, you're in the right place here. Once symptoms linger it is not usually because of tissue damage but because of a brain error- a prediction error. This video explains more if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/4QDFGvHGURc/w-d-xo.html
@@TheSteadyCoach thank you! well i wonder if some of it is covid damage, ive heard some ppl wonder if covid causes neurological damage, apparently one lady got covid and just went blind in one eye, so strange. also the way they describe the smell/taste damage, ive seen it explained as damage to those nerves in the nose. i had wondered if maybe my visual nerves have been affected. but of course thats hopefully something my doctor can figure out more for me.
@Annie Bananie Covid is one weird virus. It can affect so many different parts of body. I had it twice now. First in Dec 21. I had complications. It caused fluid around my heart (luckily only a small amount that went away in a few months per follow up U/S and phlebitis in thigh that I thought was a blood clot sharp pain and swelling. I was sick for 6 weeks 103 fever cough etc. I lost 22 pounds (I was pretty thin to begin with) All this time later all the weight stayed off and still little appetite. When I was coming down w it I felt dull. All my senses were dulled out and felt I was walking in a dream. I just got it again a month ago. 102 fever sore throat, bit nowhere near as bad as 1st time, but I still feel fatigue and I think it hit my ears. Pressure in ears and sounds muffled. I think the virus can easily travel to ear tubes when it's in throat, nasal etc. This is a lot worse than the flu. So much gets affected.
I have the same symptoms but I don’t think I had Covid but I got the vaccines. My ENT nor my neurologist can confirm or deny. Like they keep telling me it’s not what I think it is. So mean while I’m suffering without relief. Can you help? It’s been about 2 or 3 years.

Diego, so sorry to hear you are going through these horrible times. Have you seen the videos on my playlist Ask Dr. Yo? I have one about why symptoms come and go, and one about why you might be dizzy even though things are normal with your medical tests.
Im after 12 days after covid, 7 days in I started feeling real dizzy and nauseous and I think im doing better from covid but I kept that dizzy feeling like I have a fat head hear like if I had 2 beers in me. Im worried im a painter and my balance is something really important to me. Im also worried bie im going back to work. I have never had ear problems
I had Covid in early June 2022, it’s now October 2024 and I’ve had constant brain pressure and pulsating (not a headache or migraine)extreme dry eyes, my eyes are now bloodshot red, I can’t drive anymore or work. I’ve been severely dizzy 24/7 365. Everything looks tilted to me.
@@krishnar246 I’ve recovered a lot shortly after I made the comment above, the dizziness has gone away. Most of that was due to anxiety. I still have the pressure and pulsating though. I’m able to drive again and have gone back to work.
Thanks for the informative video. I had covid nearly 7 months ago and have been suffering nonstop balance issues since then. I have seen an ENT who performed an evaluation with a goggle device but said my vestibular nerve and middle ear are both normal. I don't have the true room spinning vertigo, just a sense of lightheadedness and wooziness like I'm walking on a rocking boat. It gets worse with anxiety and when I don't eat for an extended period. It got slowly better over time but I'm far from cured. I'm so concerned this will be my life now 😔

@@sprenza7716 Can't thank you enough for your reassurance. I will have test for B12. I was seeing posts from people on tight neck muscles and/or cervical compression also causing dizziness. Maybe getting MRI for neck can help you diagnose your issue.
I had Covid in Dec 2020 and 3 weeks to the day after initial infection, I started with severe lightheadedness, vague dizziness, and terrible off-balance. These have been my ongoing symptoms for 39 months now and I am ready to give up on life. I just can't handle it anymore. I got 4 minutes into this video and it's disheartening to learn that this virus attacks and kills cells that will never recover. I feel like I will never recover from this and I can no longer live like this. I am at a loss and deep in depression at this stage. I have spent over $50k in doctors/hospital/imaging fees/all types of testing and I'm told there is nothing wrong with me! I did watch through to the end. I've seen all the doctors, two in some specialties for second opinions. They all tell me there is nothing wrong with me. Is this permanent? Will I never recover from this? I am at a loss.

NEVER EVER GIVE UP been praying and it has helped the body repairs itself I take a lot of supplements which helped I pray for you
I can empathize with you, after getting CT scans and trying therapies for ADD and depression, nothing helps after almost 3 years. It is not related to neurotransmitter related disorders. Having hope that research will bring this to light does lighten up the load. Now going to try the audiologist approach.
Unfortunately “western” medicine can’t do anything for these symptoms, I feel the same thing too but mine goes away after a few weeks. But.. everytime I get a virus or I’m exposed to a virus it comes back a couple of weeks after. I’m finding the only thing that works in clearing it faster is a very healthy diet or non inflammatory type foods and a mixture of common and non common vitamins that help clear free radicals and strengthen the immune response

I feel this same way. Ears popping, pressure in my head but no pain, and like going in and out of myself--that's a good way to put it. I feel like I'm going to pass out. This has been going on for 3 months now.
I have tested negative for Covid but still experiencing dizziness and heart palpitations. My head feels heavy and I feel some type of pressure but no headaches. It’s very hard for me to work. I just want to be normal again.
I’m sorry to hear what you’re going through, Kanwal. If it’s lasting for a long time, it is probably not from Covid. It has been a very difficult few years and that can trigger these kinds of symptoms even when your body is healthy.
@@TheSteadyCoach yes, after 9+ months my palpitations and dizziness is gone. I had to take Vitamin B12, Vitamin D3 and Magnesium supplements. My blood test were all clear but I still took it. I have very vague lightheadedness after covid 2 years ago.. 2 weeks after covid, i got a really bad episode of vertigo that lasted like 5 seconds and never happened again. Now my ears feel warm sometimes.. i feel just slightly off balance, almost like i can't tell how far the ground is from my feet when I step.. it gets worse as I get more tired.. I've had a sleep disorder for 8 years now, which makes that part way worse. I went to a doctor a year and a half ago, and all he did was tell me to take the covid vaccine at that time, which was 6 months after i had covid. He told me it was probably anxiety but referred me to an ENT because i requested it. The ENT told me it was anxiety and said there was nothing wrong at all. I feel off every day, I'm afraid to go to the doctor now for fear of being ignored again and told it's just stress and anxiety. If they can't see any issue, they're not gonna believe there is one.
I thought i had cervical instability though the mri results were normal. Prolotherapy didn't help. Came to know that I have convergence insufficiency. Going to a vestibular therapist after some days. I want my life back.
This is the most informational and accurate post Covid (long haul) video on dizziness. Ive been researching for months now. This video sums up everything I’ve come into contact with. I’ve been struggling with balance related issues following my Covid infection for 5 months now! I’ve seen 4 doctors still don’t have a definitive answer as to what’s going on. Every doctor I talk to seems to have something different to say ( All bullshit). I seem to know more about what’s going with my inner ear than a trained professional! Wtf?!? My main concern is weather or not the damage that has occurred in the inner ear/nerve/hairs is permanent. Are thousands of us going to be dizzy and off balance for the rest of our lives ? There needs to be more research and questions answered for those of us still in the dark AKA me 🖐🏼
Hi there, oh yes, I've seen quite a bit of this. I'm very sorry to hear what you're going through and that you're not getting answers. That is typical, but unfortunate. The good news is that if there was damage to the ear, the brain will typically compensate quickly. When it doesn't, that's what the rest of my channel talks about- "chronicity" of dizziness.
I am still having Dizziness, nausea vomiting, episode s. I am missing lots of work due to being so sick with this. The Doctor s don’t know how to treat what I have. I have had COVID 19 multiple times. I got deadly sick with each COVID Vaccine I have gotten. I am at a loss how to fix this. I had covid 2 months ago. It has completely ruined my life. I was bedridden for a month. Passing out, heart palpitations, extreme dizziness, blurry vision, shaking, hot and cold sweats and alot more symptoms. I am slowly getting better. Besides the dizziness, lightheaded unbalanced and heart palpitations. I'm doing deep breathing and watched a lot of your videos. Going to a neurologist and cardiologist next week. Thank you for this information, unfortunately for more than six months I have been suffering with balance and hearing issues after a vertigo attack post Covid-19 vaccination. I originally was diagnosed with Menieres but recently the diagnosis has been changed. The new diagnosis is Vestibular cochlea failure due to micro blood clots cause by the Astra Zeneca vaccine. VRT has been suggested, this is how I found your channel. You have been most helpful, thank you.
Hello Andrew, very sorry to hear about what's been going on! Were your vestibular test results abnormal? How was this diagnosis come to? Sometimes the diagnosis is based on testing, but sometimes the diagnosis is based on symptoms in the absence of abnormal test results, and those two situations require two very different treatment approaches.
@@TheSteadyCoach Menieres was diagnosed after a clear MRI scan and a hearing test of which indicated low range hearing loss. This diagnosis was made in September. In late November I was re diagnosed by another doctor with Vestibule cochlear failure when my low range hearing had improved and historically my vertigo attacks were minimal over the six month period. I was advised to stop taking ‘Betahistine’ of which I had taken for six months as the consultant said betahistine will interfere with the retraining of the balance. I have just completed my first week with no medication and have done VRT almost every day. I have had slight glimpses of improvement, the consultant said it may take up to a year to resolve the balance. Thank you 😊

Thank you for this video. As a result of Covid, I have off & on symptoms best described as pressure in my head that leads to motion sensitivity if I move too much. I guess that can be called dizziness. No BPPV. Been to an ENT, but I cannot take a VNG as I'm on a medication they don't want you on for the test. Can a VHIT test hone in on the source? I’m sorry you’re going through that. If medical causes have been ruled out, please check out the other videos on my channel- they can help with post Covid symptoms because if it’s two years past, it’s likely “neural circuit” aka nervous system related.
I was pretty sick a couple weeks ago, I didn't get tested for covid but I'm pretty sure that's what was going on.. now that I'm "better" I have been feeling dizzy and vertigo.. also seems worse when I first wake up but also hits me all through the day. It's been about 10 days of this how long should I expect this to go on ugh?!
Kenlee, it is very possible that your ear is still healing at this point. It's around the 8 week mark that I start to suspect we're dealing with something else. The best advice I have for you is to be very conscientious about the stress in your life. That makes the difference between the brain adapting to any changes and the brain deciding that the dizziness needs to continue.
@@513eddieg NOT fun at all, it takes courage to deal with this. But you’re way ahead of the curve if you understand right now that your brain is just recalibrating and everything is going to be ok.

VRT and movement soon as you can. You know it’s the only thing that works! I’ve dealt with this since a severe head injury aged 8… soon as you can, get an assessment and specialised exercises and KEEP MOVING so your brain can make sense of the faulty signals!!!!
Thank you for this video! I am currently recovering from COVID-19 and now have Vertigo. I'm in the process of being evaluated for VN after having covid. I've been experiencing dizziness over the last week. The dizzy and balance center I am going to has said post covid they are seeing either vestibular neuritis or post concussion symptoms. Have you heard of or seen people that present with post concussion symptoms after covid virus?
Julie, every day! Post-concussion symptoms are another group of symptoms indicating that different parts of the brain are not talking to each other. This is extremely common after someone has had temporary or permanent ear damage from a virus. My patients report all sorts of "weird" post-concussion-like symptoms (everything from visual symptoms to heaviness in the head and neck to disorientedness to fear of open spaces). The good news is, the brain typically quickly adapts. If it doesn't, if it gets settled in that pattern of miscommunication, that's when dizziness goes on for longer.
@@TheSteadyCoach Thank you! I think you're brilliant in the way you explain everything. I am grateful for your videos. I will be reaching out if I don't find resolution to my symptoms with the current dizzy/balance center I'm going to.

i’m getting okay covid right now and i’m suffering from severe dizziness which is causing me nausea and vomitting. any tips how to help it? in any way?
I am so sorry that is happening. I hope you are feeling better. Nerve inflammation can cause this but most of the time you will be just fine when your body fights off the virus. The best things to do in the acutely phase are the things that support your immune system like plenty of fluids and rest. Ask your doctor if there are any OTC meds that can provide relief from the symptoms.
My father is 68 years old. Since June, my father has had sudden dizziness for no reason. His face is also a little swollen. At first, we thought it was due to the high temperature of the environment, but it could not be cured. He was lying in the hospital, but they could not determine where the dizziness and high blood pressure were coming from. All the tests were good. Then he was fine for a while, but he started having dizziness and high blood pressure again. Sometimes he has no blood pressure, but he feels dizzy; sometimes he only has high blood pressure. Now we want to go to the eye doctor because he says that his eyes are burning and seem to be red. He can't do anything, and that's it. We couldn't understand anything. The drugs have no effect. He's also a little nervous; he's afraid that something is wrong, and he's nervous. He also drinks sedatives, but to no avail. and also 2 years ago we had Coronavirus. My father had experienced dizziness before, but it was minor. He was lying in the hospital. Even after the speech, he felt dizzy, but it was not alarming. Two years have passed. Now he started feeling dizzy again and this dizziness is the fault of Corona? What tests are needed for post-covid?

Listening to this video highten the alertness of my nervoussystem that I have been working on calming down for pretty long. I had the clear negative effect of covid 3 years ago. Symptoms have been many and around a year ago balance issues got in to play. Symptomps have come and gone (but there has always been something, some more 24/7 than others) and after many check ups with the doctor I let go convinced that it is my nervous system that is iut of balance. I have thou worked hard with not thinking I need to check up and fix the symptoms that arise and now a trigger was that I have checked ears and eyes but not maybe in the way you described...maybe I need to... At the same time I know that this is exactly what the nervous system is doing, getting me worried and act on it... what is your reflection in this? Thank you for all that you do for so many❤ PS. I work, take care of my family, excecise and live life almost as before (like 80%) and have been doing so for a long time.
Antivert is safe to take for dizziness. it will help keep the dizziness away if your body is recovering from covid. Follow your doctor's instructions, but ask about whether you should take it all the time. Sometimes that can prevent your brain from adapting if there was ear damage.
I tested positive 3 weeks+ ago, and started feeling dizzy lightheaded wooziness. My ear feels full sometimes and I feel the most comfortable when lying down. I can walk drive and have balance but something feels off when I’m walking like a fuzzy lightheadedness. Like something is off. Will this ever go away and how long will it take? It’s so scary and I’m worried it won’t heal…please help thanks
Hi! I know how scary this can feel when you are going through it and it is something new. The good thing is most people do get better quickly. My best advice is to stay off Google and Facebook. This sometimes can create further anxiety which is not helpful for your healing. Let your body heal and know that your brain is more than capable of adjusting back to normal after the illness passes.
@@TheSteadyCoach thanks so much for your reply and reassuring words! The room doesn’t spin or anything. Could this also be from PPPD? I have been stressed 247 about this for the past 4 weeks as I’ve never felt anything like this before my booster/Covid…or is it really just the brain getting “freaked out” by the virus and trying to readjust?
@@TheSteadyCoach hey I had contracted Covid back in December last year and I still have lightheaded and slightly balance issues when I smell certain smells like cigarettes, car exhaust etc. my eyes are getting noticeably darker too (dark circles) I went to get blood work done and everything seems to check out pretty fine tho my red blood count was on the high end of normal to make up for the lack of oxygen in my blood but it’s getting back normal. Now I’m not vaccinated but I slept with a friend of mine that I felt lied about being vaccinated and after intercourse, I had some chemical reaction with my eye swelling up for 2 mins or so and went down. So do you think sleeping with a vaccinated person because of the spike protein in they’re blood will have an affect on me? I’m glad you’re feeling better. When someone has an acute infection, alternative modalities like this can be helpful. When someone has unexplained long term symptoms, physical modalities do not usually address them.
I wonder couldn't we use aspirin for the blood clots or doesn't that work? I used to have pppd which got better but now 6 weeks after covid got worse. :( But I am also still scared about Covid so I don't know what the dizzyness is really about. But it gets worse After a fast walk for example so I guess it's not only anxiety because I don't have that before
Deep breath, it is normal for your nervous system to freak out after you've been sick, especially if it's a deep cause of worry for you. You're going to be ok.
Terri, I'm so glad it helped! Yes, unfortunately many viruses can attack the ear and cause these awful symptoms. Are you still in the early stages in which you have a lot of symptoms, or are you suffering from lingering symptoms after recovering?
Hello, I'm having dizziness, and ringing in the ear, I feel like my ear is burning sometimes. i had covid in june 2021, i was diagnosed with hyperreflexia on the right side. It's hard. Greetings from Brazil
It is really hard. Many people are having symptoms after covid, but this happened before with other viruses too. What I can tell you is that if it's been going on for a long time, your body has probably already healed and now your brain is taking over and continuing the symptoms. Many of the other videos on my channel are about that,
My ENT said I have anxiety and that they don't know long covid. My neurologist said the same thing they do not know long covid they just treat symptoms.
TMJ is a common mindbody disorder as well. Physical tension contributes to dizziness. Physical tension manifests when the body is in a state of high alert.
So I woke up after having Covid two days of testing negative and the room is spinning so fast I cannot walk. I can’t see anything I was rushed to the hospital. I do not have any vaccines I am in remission from cancer is the scariest thing in the world and I hope we get answers soon and I hope this doesn’t last forever. Thank you for your video.
Oh River, I am so sorry this is happening. Let me tell you: in the clinic I saw many patients like this, and they felt fine very rapidly- it did not become a chronic issue. If they were able to control their fear response, their bodies and healed and their brains naturally acclimated to whatever changes had occurred.
I am so sorry this happened to you.I have not posted this one publicly yet because we had audio issues but watch this. Sean had the same thing and he recovered. th-cam.com/video/3lEJcbyp0UQ/w-d-xo.html
This is so interesting I went to doctor and they said I have BPPV but told me it can’t be from Covid but I’m certain that’s how it started I can’t lay flat at all 😢
BPPV is usually not from Covid but your ears may be more prone to it at times of stress (including fighting off an infection). Once the BPPV clears, people usually feel better within a week. If it persists longer and the BPPV is gone, we're dealing with neural circuit dizziness, the topic of my channel!
Hi Virginia, I'm sorry to hear about your dizziness. Many things can set off an episode of dizziness. The infection itself could have caused ear damage even after receiving antibodies. It is very common to have a delay between the infection and the ear damage. But I've even had patients have dizziness that got set off by relatively innocent things like having a cold! What's important is that you start feeling better soon.
Inflammation is a biggie. Inflammation with all organs. I take lots of vitamin B12, beet juice, aloe, and have tried intermittent fasting. It's finally helping.
Why you have PPPD, MdDS, and other unexplained chronic dizziness & how to recover th-cam.com/video/4QDFGvHGURc/w-d-xo.html there is a cure but it is not available from an outside source.
I need help😓 I’m pretty sure I got Covid right when the new year started cause I lost my taste and smell along with a soar throat but tested negative twice. Ever since I recovered from that which was about a week and a half ago, I’ve been feeling really tired and dizzy all day, not to point where the room is spinning but to where I feel out of it. I just don’t feel like myself. It’s also hard to focus on things. Never felt any pain in my ears or anything like that. Just that dizziness feeling. I just want this feeling to go away:( I got 2 doses of the Moderna vaccine back in June of 2021 and felt fine ever since till this new year. Just want to know if there’s anything I could take or do to somewhat feel normal again 😔
Welcome to my channel- you’ll find you are in good company here. But I have good news for you. You can absolutely recover from this. When it’s recently started, the best thing you can do is not fear or obsess about your symptoms. They are real, but they are being created by the nervous system in response to stress. I have a whole course on this, but I wanted to recommend you also make sure via visiting a physician that there is nothing physically wrong that explains all these symptoms. If not- watch my channel under recovery stories- next week I will be posting an interview with someone who was dizzy after Covid and who has now recovered
Sorry to hear, hope you have recovered. I am having this dizziness for more than three months post covid, the dizziness is constant, but not vertigo. Not able to return to work, it is really frustrating.
Hi there, I'm sure others may chime in here, but the rest of my channel is devoted to answering this question. If you're dealing with chronic dizziness, you're in the right place!
Sorry to hear that's been your experience. For the record, my channel is about non-medical ways of helping people with chronic dizziness and there are many people here who have gotten better without medicine.
I have damaged nerves in my left ear and my ocular muscles keep spasming and causing nystagmus. I need to pay my bills. I cannot afford to be bedridden. Need the meds. @@TheSteadyCoach
There's a lot of great science out there, but when it's narrow, dogmatic and has no concern for the psychosocial consequences of the work, it does a lot of harm.
Hi Blake! You are so right. Pretty sure most people with dizziness end up convinced they have brain tumors. Fortunately the vast majority of people do not!
One year later and I still have dizzyness, light headed, brain fog, balance issues, my head feels weak and heavy. I have seen so many doctors, specialists and have had several blood work done and all results come back normal :(. It’s so frustrating
Please check out some of the other videos on my channel about PPPD and neural circuit dizziness! I think it'll explain what you're going through.

You're very welcome, Mark. It sounds like you are on the right track!
Mine didn't seem to be around while I had covid, but after I got over it, my dizziness was different than usual and worse. So rude!
Thank you for sharing your husband’s experience, Carolyn!

did his eyes burn or feel dry? I feel like this is my issue? I will close my eyes and I can feel them twitching slightly its weird.
'it can feel so completely awful and so completely disorienting' Yes 100% thats how ive been describing my long symptoms for the last year-plus. taste-smell and visual-fatigue/dizziness issues are all so incredibly disorienting its depressing
Yes, and it's invisible so it's hard for others to understand.
@@TheSteadyCoach thanks. How long does this typically take to heal, if at all, and is exercising advised at this point?
@@game1414 within 6-8 weeks if there was an ear injury. I would keep moving as much as possible actually, unless you have a medical contraindication! Exercise, enjoy your life as much as you can, the more you keep moving (without stressing yourself out), the faster the brain will recalibrate if the ear has been inured.
I have exactly the same symptoms. I recovered from covid 2 months ago but busy environments or crowded places makes me so bad!

I was prescribed a 5 day dose of prednisone tapering from 25mg but im afraid of the side effects because ive been having axiety from all of this. Watvhing your video calmed me for a bit and you may be an angel .

Wtf?!? Hi there, oh yes, I've seen quite a bit of this. I'm very sorry to hear what you're going through and that you're not getting answers. That is typical, but unfortunate.
The past few days though I’ve been down with an upper respiratory tract infection, not sure if it’s covid or flu but basically fever, nasal congestion and sore throat. So Because of it I have been feeling sore body and dizziness which is mainly lightheadedness/ weird head feeling when I move my head and vision around. No vertigo so far thank God! Is it normal for people with PPPD to experience a spike or worsening of symptoms? Does it improve faster than the first time around? I’m trying to stay positive and reassure myself! Thank you
Hi Fatma, I am sorry you are not feeling well! The good thing is though that you know that these symptoms can go away and you have proven that. Anything that challenges the immune system can temporarily increase symptoms, but it is temporary. Remember to remain calm. Check this out too, if you have not already: th-cam.com/video/B_TnoBG8MYk/w-d-xo.html
@@TheSteadyCoach thank you! I’m definitely trying to just ride it out.. I have watched your video before at a time of relapse and it was really helpful and reassuring. Guess also respiratory infections can have an effect.
Thanks for asking that question, I’ve got exactly the same, glad it’s only temporary but definitely a bit scary after getting so much better!
@@catherinefrance2718 yes it got better once the flu went away. You will be fine
I talked to my physician and she automatically told me to look up exercise videos on the internet to help, but I've seen that most of these exercises are for the Crystals I the inner ear and not for treating due to the virus. What do you suggest I do? Should I try to explain this to her or try the exercises? Thanks so much!
Hi Tara, oh my goodness. I am so sorry that you were given so little guidance. If at all possible, I would suggest looking for a vestibular therapist in your area. That person can do some bedside testing and give you an idea of what might help. You can find a directory at dizzy.com (American institute of balance!)
@@TheSteadyCoach awesome thank you for your advice! I think my physician is just very unfamiliar with the subject and that's all she could think of at the time lol! I will be looking into this for sure, thanks again!
Did you find excercises or something on that portal cause i didn't find anything
@@julieobrien7963 I hope they help you feel better! I’m here if you need me 😊
I am battling with dizziness for over a year. All specialist couldn't provide a diagnosis.
I am sorry to hear this, once it becomes chronic like this and there is no medical problem that explains it, we are dealing with a brain prediction error. th-cam.com/video/4QDFGvHGURc/w-d-xo.html
Yep I’ve had dizziness for a year almost. Smoking cigs and weed and drinking doesn’t help but it’s crazy.
I'm sorry you're going through that.
i’m getting okay covid right now and i’m suffering from severe dizziness which is causing me nausea and vomitting. any tips how to help it?
It's worth getting a full workup from a vestibular specialist. Consider dizzy.com - they have centers of excellence with specialists.
I tested positive for covid 3 days ago and felt very sick tow of the three days. I went to the ER and they told me I just had to ride it out. I have no breathing issues. The next morning I woke up, and got out of bed. I felt a little dizzy but my overall health felt good. I had some running around to do for a few hours (I work by myself with no contact with others) and I thought I had this covid-19 thing beat. I felt normal. The next morning I woke up and I'm dizzy and not balanced at all.
I'm sorry you're unwell, Gary. Best to get checked out by a physician to make sure nothing medical is going on.
I had Covid in May and was dizzy while sick. Once recovered I had mild dizziness but nothing too bad. I got my first vaccine a month ago and have had immense dizziness affecting my daily life now. I don’t know what to do and I’m scared of getting the second one
Nicole, it sounds like danger mode might have been re-activated due to the scary first experience you had. Please watch some of the other videos on my channel- this one goes over teh basics! th-cam.com/video/4QDFGvHGURc/w-d-xo.html

Whenever I lay down anywhere like bed.. My head starts spinning.. So badly... For a year+
I’m sorry you’re going through this.
My doctor prescribed me antivert for dizziness is it safe if having the same symptoms as every one else recovering from Covid
I was super worried that I even had a brain scan done and it was normal but most times when I’m walking I still feel lightheaded, weird head/ear fullness pressure sometimes like something is off and it feels scary especially with certain head movements.
I’m still suffering but when I work out and sweat, I’m fine until I get around unpleasant odors then I feel the lightheaded again. Had a friend over the other night and she was vaccinated and we had protected sex but it’s after a half day or so my ears seems a bit stopped up etc but I’m not vaccinated. Any idea if they passed the disease?
Thank you
Question is where are you located I like to visit you not all doctors are good I been to 1 or too still no answer in my case I had COVID and I been having lightheaded symptoms 2 times year a part spinning stack less then 5 seconds thank you for this info god bless
Hi Gullermo, I am in Florida but unfortunately my practice is currently full and I am not taking on new patients right now. I hope that will change in the near future. In the meantime, that is one big reason why I created the free course. members.thesteadycoach.com
I did neauvage sinus flush, took traumel for inflammation a lymphatic drainage drops lots of water. It has taken away the feeling of pressure on the right side of my head in the sinus, ear area. And molybdenum compositum for nerve damage conduction issues. Lastly, I have been using red light therapy . I have had some improvements. 9 weeks out some sound is coming. When I stimulate the ear with an ear bud I hear mumble level and lower tones not higher tones.
I decided to basically treat my self homeopathicly for a incefalitis, meningitis type illness . And I have also been using some herbal anticoagulant like resvirotol and or serraptase .
Don't just do anything I have mentioned. Google what I mentioned. Get yourself a great naturalpath or TCM practioner .
But I am also still scared about Covid so I don't know what the dizzyness is really about. But it gets worse After a fast walk for example so I guess it's not only anxiety because I don't have that before
Deep breath, it is normal for your nervous system to freak out after you've been sick, especially if it's a deep cause of worry for you. You're going to be ok.
@@TheSteadyCoach Thank you 💝
Yes when I go for a walk I don't feel the symptoms and I got positive test February 24th I feel more unsteady but you're right about the walking
Sorry to hear you're going through this!
Thank you for this video; it was extremely informative. I'm experiencing this right now...not from Covid, but another upper respiratory virus.
Many of the other videos on my channel are about that,
i currently have covid and i feel so heavy weighted and even if I move my head a little i feel very dizzy and nauseas
I'm sorry, Dave. Covid is really miserable. It is normal to feel dizzy and sick while you have it.
My ENT said I have anxiety and that they don't know long covid. My neurologist said the same thing they do not know long covid they just treat symptoms.
This will clarify th-cam.com/video/t2G8DVCtC2Y/w-d-xo.html
every nice forever! greatings from brazil ! we already did it !
Thank you!
I started grinding my teeth dizziness went away with night gard my headache went away
Hey did this ever clear up for you? I’m on day 4 of Covid and woke up this exact experience today.
The vaccine caused my dizziness/balance issues. It’s been two years and I still haven’t fully recovered. Im giving up
I am so sorry this happened to you.I have not posted this one publicly yet because we had audio issues but watch this. Sean had the same thing and he recovered. th-cam.com/video/3lEJcbyp0UQ/w-d-xo.html
I get reoccurring vertigo since getting covid
You are not alone, Frankie.
My sever Dizziness was caused by after receiving the monoclonal antibodies…
Hi Virginia, I'm sorry to hear about your dizziness. Many things can set off an episode of dizziness. The infection itself could have caused ear damage even after receiving antibodies. It is very common to have a delay between the infection and the ear damage. But I've even had patients have dizziness that got set off by relatively innocent things like having a cold! What's important is that you start feeling better soon.
Inflammation is a biggie. Inflammation with all organs. I take lots of vitamin B12, beet juice, aloe, and have tried intermittent fasting. It's finally helping.
I’m glad you’re getting relief! Taking care of stress and distress also physically affect the body.
Belive in lord Ayyappan it will go I will pray for all

I was told I had vestibular
Ive just been through Covid for the first time and developed Dizzy spells which alarmed me. . This has been very helpful . Thanks R
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Richard!

Only clonazepam works.
