Hey Bob, I know you will never read a message that starts like this, but thank you for all of your comedy and all of your work, especially Dirty Work 😂
Looks like there’s gonna be a brawl. Playing something good? Hell yeah! Rolling Stones, “Street Fighting Man,” G-7!!!!!!!!!!!You just hit G-8........ if you like pina coladas!!!
I absolutely love Brian Regan, I have for years!! Today I fell in love with Bob and this podcast. So humble and I could sense Brian was having the most fun and that is what podcasting is all about! Great work Mr. Saget!!
Great interview. The one thing that hit me was around 01:14:00 when Bob was talking about a convo he had with Bill Burr, about hurrying up if he wanted to do specials and whatnot. Hearing that now made me stop and be like "Whoa...that actually came true." And it was less than a year later. RIP Bob, you were a legend.
I was working a very very boring security job years ago, in the middle of the night. Luckily, I was on a private property and I could drive the patrol vehicle at about 3mph. So I watched one of Brian's specials on my phone, and it was just one of the most entertaining things I'd ever seen. It got me through the night and made the job less boring. After that, I watched everything of Brian's that I could find. Good memories and a great start to being a fan. As far as Bob goes, I wish he had done this format from the very beginning. I've never been a fan of any of his work, but this is good.
When is comes to Brian, his audience doesn't describe him as clean in a diminished sense. They are referring to being able share his humor with their grandmother - Laugh along with their parents - Play it in the car with their kids. etc. One of the best period.
Thank you for this Bob. What a gift to bring us this content. Your humanity shines through. One of your most attractive qualities is that you lack the vicious envy and bitterness we see in many comedians.
Thank you Bob, first time listener to your show, excellent podcast, I am fan of Brian Regan, loved your time with him on the show, It literally made my day. Keep up the great work.😀🤗🙏
Brian Regan is definitely the best clean standup comic on earth. When I first heard him I couldn't stop laughing for a few days. I also love how he doesn't talk politics.
@Proper Except that I am only relaying what Brian says himself. It is in the first couple minutes of this video and many others including comedians in cars where he tells Jerry he hates the clean label th-cam.com/video/56NLoL3Kc44/w-d-xo.html
Another great show, Bob. I just watched Brian’s special the other night. I’ve been a fan of him for quite some time. As I am a fan of yours. This was such a great show, as it gave me a lot of insight into preparing for stand-up comedy. I’m an older guy who was getting ready to start doing open mics when Covid happened. Hopefully before the end of the summer I’ll get a chance to do some open mics. Keep doing these great podcasts.
Highlight of my day, watching this. Sincere gratitude for a few minutes of interesting banter and a break from "everything else". Just, yeah. Good stuff.
Thanks for talking the nuts and bolts of comedy. It was helpful and informative to up-and-comers. So few comedians do that. This was entertaining and helpful at the same time. God bless and keep laughing.
The second best thing about Brian Regan releasing a new special is when he has to make the podcast rounds, especially when it's with fellow comedians! The first best is, obviously, the special.
Excellent podcast! Brian Regan is amazing and Ive seen his show a few times here in Utah at that same outdoor venue. So much fun! Thanks for all the laughs!
I’m so glad people in high places like Jerry has my fave comedian’s back. Thanks, Jerry! ❤️ And my childhood crush of Bob, thank you for interviewing my Brian. Will always love you. ❤️❤️❤️
I'm pretty picky when it comes to funny and seriously Bob, Brian, and Kathleen Madigan are my 3 favs. It never gets old. A shout-out to Spade and Craig Shoemaker as well.
This is an absolute pleasure to watch.... Bob, you are a perfect host - teeing up questions and allowing the guest to run. Brian, its nice to watch the "real guy" and not the bit. Together, a great balanced, natural, politically-neutral hour and a half. Thank you both!
3 questions: How often do you vacuum? Do any of those drawers behind you contain cleaning supplies? Where can I get one of those velcro-on in-car litter-bags from S.5 Ep.20 ?
I want road stories to do more on traffic what happens when he's driving he's so good telling those stories I can just see myself in that situation is he's brilliant I need more road stories
"WOW...just WOW...WOW, what a great word...WOW backwards is WOW, and WOW upside down is MOM, ... and MOM upside down is what your DAD likes..." -Sir Bob Saget First time watching, subscriber instantly! Great content!
The great Brian Regan! “ Hey Toby, great news...” Please comeback to Toronto’s Massey Hall, they just completed extensive renovations. When Norm, Dave and Jerry say you’re good you must be doing something right.
He's mostly a clean comic. He's very relatable in his material, and his mannerisms and random shouting that exaggerates the situations really hit home the humor aspects. Like in his classic "me monster" routine or the plane situation in first class. I appreciate the time and the great thoughts about a tremendous comical genius. God Bless, John German
Regarding the 'clean comedian' bit of this--- I think a lot of people believe that today it is HARDER to tell a joke that doesn't involve the bathroom, bedroom, or gutter... and have the audience erupt in laughs. Society doesn't generate this type of humor like it used to 50+ years ago, even though everyone can relate to human things that aren't dirty, not everyone can relate to specific dirty jokes. Being able to pull off the type of comedy that Brian Regan has perfected is a very difficult feat. Its a tribute to his professionalism and excellence in his craft.
For those of us who appreciate someone with vocabulary skills and who don't want to hear profanity...it's helpful to hear that someone does "clean" comedy.
I appreciate when they write clean comedian because then I know that there will not be an excessive amount of genital jokes, repetitive pelvic thrusts and obscene hand gestures in order to emphasize a point in their comedy routine. Before I go to a comedy club, I go to TH-cam and sample the comedians work. This way I know ahead of time whether or not I want to see their show. Everything nowadays is about sampling, and previewing. Costco does it. And it’s done online, as well. Things are posted on Instagram so that people get an idea of what that particular merchant is offering. Whether they are a hairdresser or a comedian, people want to know ahead of time, what to expect in exchange for their money.
That makes sense to shut a show down like that. The quarrantines were being mentioned. At the time no one really knew what or where it came from. People could have spread it and spread it.
Brian Regan is my favorite comedian. One of the reasons I love Brian Regan is because he is not political. Why in the world would an entertainer choose to become political and lose half of their prospective fans? Bad business.
Brian is the best 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 just saw him in San Diego and I laughed the whole time it was a geg! That’s Irish for laugh 😁 I wanted to give him a hug but I think he was ushered out the back into his private jet 🤣
Born: May 17, 1956 - Died: January 9, 2022. Bob died after a severe blow to his head fractured his skull in several spots and caused bleeding across both sides of his brain, an autopsy report shows. - WebMD Also had Covid and could have been weakened and fell backwards onto his head.
Brevity is the soul of wit, so for comedians to throw in cuss words only muddies the waters. No need for profanity. I like Brian Regan, he has a lot of wit. More comedians should follow suit.
We miss the wit of Bob. Uniquely his own. Yeah, he crossed the line. Who doesn't. Look at the church! Christ should've come long ago, at the height of the reformation. But we know the church has another agenda. And Jesus is not included. 😇
what I notice about comedy is live it's not as funny. it's not like music where you want to hear the hits. it's like comedy has to be fresh, have fresh tracks you've never heard before or -as an audience member-i find myself not laughing. yet I can listen to comedy over and over on TH-cam and laugh my butt off. not sure that makes sense but when Brian mentioned how he learned not to rely on old jokes for laughs that's when realized he needed to work on new stuff and realizes he can do it. from scratch essentially. like a writer or something. I know I'm not very clear on this but I tried.
His humility and gratitude is always felt, in all of his appearances. What a great interview. Thanks Mr Saget. RIP.
Brian Regan: 1 of the best to ever take the stage. Top 10 of all time for sure. He is so humble too.
For sure. He has those rare specials where you can just watch it over and over and it'll never get old.
❤😂🎉❤
Hey Bob, I know you will never read a message that starts like this, but thank you for all of your comedy and all of your work, especially Dirty Work 😂
Looks like there’s gonna be a brawl. Playing something good? Hell yeah! Rolling Stones, “Street Fighting Man,” G-7!!!!!!!!!!!You just hit G-8........ if you like pina coladas!!!
What a really great interview.
Regan has always been so hilarious, love seeing him and Bob chatting it up here.
I absolutely love Brian Regan, I have for years!! Today I fell in love with Bob and this podcast. So humble and I could sense Brian was having the most fun and that is what podcasting is all about! Great work Mr. Saget!!
Love Brian's comedy!!!
Whenever I want to laugh really laugh I look at Brian Regan
Love you always, Bob
Regan is such a talented, hilarious, intelligent man. Saw him live years ago in Baltimore- great experience :)
Bob, I just want you to know how grateful I am that you would perform this unselfish and much needed public service.
Sponsored public service 💰🤩

Yes, crazy and so sad.
Definitely. It made me take pause... Miss you Bob. 😭❤️

Great to hear Bob Saget - a precious moment. Brian Regan & Bob Saget - what gracious and humble guys to listen to. Thanks for this.
When is comes to Brian, his audience doesn't describe him as clean in a diminished sense. They are referring to being able share his humor with their grandmother - Laugh along with their parents - Play it in the car with their kids. etc. One of the best period.
I like how Saget didn't say 'Clean'.
RIP Bob, Norm and Gilbert. All within 7 months.
Thank you for this Bob. What a gift to bring us this content. Your humanity shines through. One of your most attractive qualities is that you lack the vicious envy and bitterness we see in many comedians.
Brian Regan still as funny as the first time I seen him many many years ago. Netflix special was 👍
My favorite comedian ever!!! Thanks for another great pod, Bob!
Saying clean is not necessary. Brian, Norm, Patrice are the best in my opinion. Yes and all the greats are in my top 10 but my top 3 to ever do it.
@Proper Except that I am only relaying what Brian says himself. It is in the first couple minutes of this video and many others including comedians in cars where he tells Jerry he hates the clean label th-cam.com/video/56NLoL3Kc44/w-d-xo.html

Another stellar podcast, Bob! And thanks for the rec on Bryan’s new special. Also hilarious.
Highlight of my day, watching this. Sincere gratitude for a few minutes of interesting banter and a break from "everything else". Just, yeah. Good stuff.
Amazing pod ... what an interviewer. Love Brian also always
Thanks for talking the nuts and bolts of comedy. It was helpful and informative to up-and-comers. So few comedians do that. This was entertaining and helpful at the same time. God bless and keep laughing.
This needs all the views - true legend
Brian is untouchable!
Lovely convo Bob! You’re so fun to talk to!
The second best thing about Brian Regan releasing a new special is when he has to make the podcast rounds, especially when it's with fellow comedians! The first best is, obviously, the special.
Brian Regan is the GOOT-Greatest Of Our Time!
Love Brian Regan!
The potato chip lady! Always nice when we can all laugh & enjoy the moment. thanks again for all the laughs.
Excellent podcast! Brian Regan is amazing and Ive seen his show a few times here in Utah at that same outdoor venue. So much fun! Thanks for all the laughs!
Weighing the shipping box bit is 1 of the best bits ever.
Bob, Have a nice Summer!
Another good episode Bob.
I’m so glad people in high places like Jerry has my fave comedian’s back. Thanks, Jerry! ❤️
And my childhood crush of Bob, thank you for interviewing my Brian.
Will always love you. ❤️❤️❤️
Wow... I thoroughly enjoyed this!

HOW THE FUCK IS THIS NOT MORE POPULAR?!?! This is Bob flippin’ Saget for god’s sake!
Both these guys are very good people, imagine hanging out with these guys

We are here for u too bob
Man, must not have been long after this was filmed that Bob passed. Nostalgia. RIP
Clicked this in a second, love Brian.. One of the greatest to ever do it. And his brother Dennis is pretty great too.
great interview 💎
I want road stories to do more on traffic what happens when he's driving he's so good telling those stories I can just see myself in that situation is he's brilliant I need more road stories

"WOW...just WOW...WOW, what a great word...WOW backwards is WOW, and WOW upside down is MOM, ... and MOM upside down is what your DAD likes..." -Sir Bob Saget
First time watching, subscriber instantly! Great content!
Brian Regan,,, steamroller of funny. And almost totally clean. Carrey crossed with Seinfeld and Will Ferrel energies and crafts
Scratch ...Totally clean !
The great Brian Regan! “ Hey Toby, great news...” Please comeback to Toronto’s Massey Hall, they just completed extensive renovations. When Norm, Dave and Jerry say you’re good you must be doing something right.
I’ve laughed harder at Brian than any other comedian. No offense, Bob.
God Bless,
John German
Same... even after hearing the 2nd or 3rd time
Why would you say “no offense Bob”?
His rocks special was great
BryYOWN! you are the man. Take luck my friend.
Regan is awesome
1:13:40😭 You did a lot more than you'll ever know.
I only listen to podcasts when I play games, but I do so much better when I listen to bob.
I remember the Johnny Carson bit with the potato chip lady . It was classic
Loves Regan on the podcast bob! Another episode I will never forget😆❤🖒

These guys are super funny and interesting. Saget does not look 65.
Brian's brother was pretty funny too. Saget you rock, lol
We speak his words on a daily basis
I walked on the Moon is the greatest comedy special, I'm out of breath by the end of it.
For those of us who appreciate someone with vocabulary skills and who don't want to hear profanity...it's helpful to hear that someone does "clean" comedy.
Norm said many times. Brian was his favorite comic.
We just gonna gloss over Brian's damn near perfect Dangerfield impression
I just discovered Brian Regan. I would do him.
I appreciate when they write clean comedian because then I know that there will not be an excessive amount of genital jokes, repetitive pelvic thrusts and obscene hand gestures in order to emphasize a point in their comedy routine. Brian Regan series with Rosanne Barr as his mother... make it happen.(1:12 moment is prophetic)
That makes sense to shut a show down like that. The quarrantines were being mentioned. At the time no one really knew what or where it came from. People could have spread it and spread it.
Class Acts: Brian Regan...Steve Martin...Johnny Carson...David Letterman...Jerry Seinfeld...Norm MacDonald
What the heck flies over Brian's right shoulder at 3:59?
Brian Regan is my favorite comedian. One of the reasons I love Brian Regan is because he is not political. Why in the world would an entertainer choose to become political and lose half of their prospective fans? Bad business.
Brian is the best 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 just saw him in San Diego and I laughed the whole time it was a geg! That’s Irish for laugh 😁 I wanted to give him a hug but I think he was ushered out the back into his private jet 🤣
and no one believes your assertion that geg is irish for craic...leave it out...
Was OJ wearing the glove, Brian?? Lol
So glad Brian is getting the recognition while he's still with us instead of all of the comments being how good someone "was"
I know a stand-up guy and he said when he starts to bomb he always breaks out the props that keeps them happy in Ellen's bedroom.
If you need a third on the tee, I suck too.

You look very familiar, what’s the name with the guy with the glasses?
Brevity is the soul of wit, so for comedians to throw in cuss words only muddies the waters. No need for profanity. I like Brian Regan, he has a lot of wit. More comedians should follow suit.
You'd never guess, looking at these two side by side that Bob Saget is 2 years older than Brian.
I'm going to be filing a lawsuit against Brian Regan for the damage caused to my body from sustained uncontrollable laughter.
Cannonball wound and good activity Bry
Wow mr Saget changed do much sińce fh
Plz invite steve carell
rad

There’s the unread top shelf...
Great video. I love your work but my favorite thing youve done was the aristocrats joke
Your voice is not quite there but I can hear that Larry king/Stan lee/Jeff bridges rasp coming in the next couple years.
The only person to top Brian Regan is that old chunk of coal Norm!

I refuse to believe that's Brian Regan. I didn't even recognize him.
If only Regan talked more. Saget is an funny hack.
The dirtiest and the cleanest
