    Thanks for the video. I just ordered this exact same thing, I wonder how difficult the job is?

    Hey mate, thanks for the video, just wondering how close is your hill to the exhaust? Are you touching it while riding? Even by accident. Looks like its really close. Thanks

      The exhaust is close in appearance, but my heel never touches it. The exhaust tip is a bit to the inside of the foot peg and far enough back/below that when I'm riding with the ball of my foot on the peg, my heel is far enough away. I don't feel any of the heat and none of my riding gear has been damaged/melted. **Disclaimer** I am an "All the gear, All the time" rider. So I've always got my boots and full length pants on. If you ride in shorts or plain ol shoes, you might feel a bit of heat.

      @@GalpersKCCO Same here, all gear or no riding. Was just wondering cause I have Street Triple now with racefit exhaust and its uncomfortably close to my heel, never had any issues but Im touching it almost everytime when lean left which is kinda annoying. Now thinking about upgrading to Speed and for sure wont ride with factory exhaust lol and Austin Racing seems to be the best looking and exposing the wheel the most, plus sounds like racefit which is amazing :) thanks

    THANK YOU, you must be the first person on youtube to go for this AR can. Do you know what the output db is of the GP1? Wondering if I can get away with keeping it on for track use.

      I haven't gotten out the Db meter yet and unfortunately it's 30 degrees here, so my bike is on stands hibernating for the winter. I'm sure you've seen on the AR website, the 2 cans that have NO Db killer option available are between 102-104Db and 104-106Db at 5500 RPM. I know my local track limits us to 105, so I'm hoping with the baffle in this GP1R setup I won't get turned away.

    hey would you mind getting some dB numbers just with your phone? i know its not correct but atleast something to have some numbers
    the cat is still on it which means it still has all legal/stock co2 numbers and stuff right? or black box is just a silencer correct?
    i live in Germany that’s why im asking (veeery strict rules)

      Sorry, I haven't had time to post any video, but I did take the bike out and test dB numbers with the dB killer installed. I used an actual dB meter and set it on a tripod roughly 2 meters behind the bike. It read 103 dB as the max with my setup.
      I currently have the dB killer removed, but haven't test the max yet. I can say, it's noticeably louder, but no official readings yet.
      Lastly, this setup doesn't touch the CAT or O2 sensor. This link will show you what was removed (Orange circle) and what stayed on the bike (Blue Circle): photos.app.goo.gl/WDNai6htBCUrnman6
      Hope this helps!

    Did you experience any loss of torque in any rpm range? Or did you do an ECU remap after the change? Thanks for the sharing, this is how it should sound, when it comes out of the factory :)

    • @GalpersKCCO
      @GalpersKCCO  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I didn't remap and I haven't noticed any big differences in power. Although I have to admit - I'm not a track day guy so I don't really push this beast full tilt. It's my street machine for a bit of hoonin' and one wheel salutes.

      @@GalpersKCCO Thank you for the good news! If there was a significant loss, you would have noticed. When I removed the catalytic converter with the exup valve from my Yamaha MT-10 it became miserably sluggish in the lower rpm range. You could hear in the sound of the engine that she was suffering. The remap was inevitable there.

    Is this full system or slip on? Thanks for sharing 🙏

    • @GalpersKCCO
      @GalpersKCCO  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a Slip-On with "extra steps" (Silencer Box Delete). 100% not a full system. But this option gets rid of the huge silencer box thats tucked up behind the belly fairings. Doesn't touch the stock header assembly though. This is all the stuff that came off from stock: photos.app.goo.gl/ErPBhw6FyFyBsn8fA

    Hi there... Did this system get rid of the cat box please

    • @GalpersKCCO
      @GalpersKCCO  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As I mentioned in my other comments, this is not a full system, it does NOT touch the headers or O2 Sensor. The following link shows a photo with an orange line I've drawn around the parts that were REMOVED - the blue line is circling the parts that remained on the bike: photos.app.goo.gl/WDNai6htBCUrnman6
      Hope this helps!

    Hello, dobyou have a vidéo without DB Killer ?

    • @GalpersKCCO
      @GalpersKCCO  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't - not that it would matter much because I only have the GoPro to record. I doubt you'd hear a difference. Once Spring hits where i'm at i'll get the bike back out and record the db output with and without the baffle. So I'll post that video as soon as I can
