You can get a similar result from just taking an existing thick snare sample, and dive into that kind of hidden 'Precomputed Effects' window in FL's sampler, and play with the Pogo knob. Easy cheat codes to get any kick or snare to be a little tighter and have a little bit of that 'hyper' feel to it. Don't sleep on the Pogo knob.
yup that is another great way to do it! i forgot about it when making this video but the only thing with the pogo is that it pitches down over time which might not be favorable in some situations
@@FrshmlkFor sure, it's a little pitch bendy, which I think maybe leans itself a bit more towards something like hyperpop or chiptune like drums. It's super easy to overdo, but like 5-10% can add a little extra something to drum one shots.
