Xcelent ideas... :D My previous ICE daily driver was really efficient and I drive for efficiency so my cost per mile was actually neck and neck with my EV. But I produce my own power so that helps with that ROI for the investment in that system when you can monetize it against vehicle costs. Now I just don't think about it unless I have to go to a public charger then the cussing starts... ROFL Hope you heard the news that Tesla just nuked the entire supercharger team. Sounds like whatever projects they have under way or under contract will continue, but sounds like that may be it once those are deployed. No one knows what is going on over in Tesla. The charging network now sounds like it may be in jeopardy. Everyone is trying to figure out what is going on. Tesla on the wrong path and this really is raising some eyebrows.
Speaking about you cussing at public chargers I have noticed lately that they are getting really expensive in some places. I see them all the time now (plug share not see for real) in the high 50's (cents) and even in the 70's. I'm glad they are there none the less though. Elon has me scratching my head. First it's ammunition for the EV haters that we will all have to listen to and second it just makes no sense. I have no idea what's going on but it's concerning.
