Overtime will lose access and interviews if they start including truth telling statlines. They want the clicks. Overtime has put their money down on the Ball family. I would like to Melo be a little more agressive but the talent on his team is undeniable. People saying he needs to carry are ignorant. They're blowing teams out by 20 and he's playing in the flow of the game, college coaches like to see that. We've seen what he can do at Chino and overseas where he was the guy but it's good to see him play in a system and actually be coached for once

Just because y’all are so used to seeing melo drop 30 a game doesn’t means he has to do it all the time. Cole A. doesn’t drop 20 a game and he’s the number one point guard. He’s not even the leading scorer on his team and he’s the number one point guard. The difference between him and cole is that when ever he plays like a true point guard people call him trash and no one says anything to cole.
@@daudabdikadir3215 You cannot compare Cole to Melo. Cole is a dog on the court and he hustles almost every play on both ends of the floor. I'm a HUGE Melo fan, but I'll admit he's too non chalant and at times a bit lazy when the play doesn't involve him. True, Spire is testing more of his ability to be a "team player" but he can still showcase more of a skill than just putting up numbers. You'll notice on most of the video ppl make excuses for his lack luster performances by saying hes not trying. Uh, in what world does a basketball coach start a player thats not trying? I played hs basketball and I'll tell you, if you weren't working your butt off, whether scrimmage or practice you were getting benched. He's finally on a team where everyone else is just as good as he his so shoot absurd 3s and piggy backing on defense ain't gonna get him the ball. All in all, I'm still a fan, but maintain he need to step it up.
I'm a melo fan, and rooting for the kid, but he's been lack luster ever since he's gotten to spire. I expect him to be a leader and shine amongst the other 9 ppl on the floor. If I didn't know he was famous I honestly wouldn't think anything of these so called highlights and click bait titles.

Steven Bean Melo is playing as a true point guard now and passing more often so he’s not scoring these crazy 40 point games like you were used to seeing back when he was on Chino Hills.
I think he's low-key trying to fit in the team first. Just imagine some famous ass kid joins ur team hogs the ball and scores bare points how would the team react. Everyone in that team wants a bit of the spotlight and until they see Lamelo as a teammate they ain't just gonna let him go crazy every game.

I don't know what video some people be watchin but people complain that "he don't pass the ball, he barely shoot, he ain't dunkin, he seems uninterested...". I see the complete opposite lol. He is doing so much passing and assisting his teammates in dunks. Definitely smiling more since he came to spire and connecting with his team. Like he seems really comfortable and happy. He's the youngest ball and spoiled so yea he likes to goof around a bit but he makes up for it by scoring. He is so young and holds a lot weight on his shoulder already. But he handles it quite well.
