To adhere to JESUS'S TEACHING ( not Paul's and others) is the true obedience to God's Word not the true obedience to the Bible.
Even it is stated in the Bible that we must serve God in SPIRIT AND TRUTH.
TRUTH (the spirit of truth) which Christ had promised to send as our comforter. NOT THE BIBLE.
Do you know that the Bible isn't literally from God but it is only an "inspired word of God" written not by the first account of the authors. Inspired word is same as being under the directives of the Holy Spirit. It's not our life saver (Christ is) it doesn't give power ( but the Holy spirit empowers us), it doesn't guarantee salvation but it would guide and reprove you.
May I ask, which is greater. The Holy spirit or the written word it had inspired?
The bible is a book that gives historical account of a particular group of people as well as introduce us to the Supreme Father, but it is the Holy Spirit that can turn a man from evil to good and sanctify the soul into righteousness. The bible stirs our heart but the spirit moves our soul, hence what it means to be born again( in the spirit)
