Orion tracks are Shelby Singleton. I have Had Jr Parker in my box like new since 1955 picked up at a black owners record shop in East New York on Nostrand and Atlant
Sweet looking vinyl, Ed! Congrats on picking up a copy. Interesting tidbit , the two Orion tracks were the ones released by Shelby Singleton, of Sun Records, in 1972 on the Sun label without an artist’s name causing people to think they were hearing unheard Elvis material. RCA went so far as running a voice print of it before initiating a lawsuit. The result of which showed it wasn’t Elvis. ⚡️
At least two of the songs here, Little Junior Parker's "Mystery Train" and Carl Perkins's "Blue Suede Shoes," are the original recordings and Elvis's versions were the covers.
Woah! 😮 I...must...have....this! Thank you for sharing this, sir. Everything about this record is cool. I've *got* to hear Roy sing "Trying To Get To You"! Have a great day and take good care. 🫡 👑 ✨️ *T⚡️C⚡️B* ✨️ 👑
Ed, im just wondering, have you ever unboxed/had the ‘if I can dream’ box set? The one with the royal philharmonic orchestra? totally bizarre question I know! I just wondered. Great vid as always ❤❤
Very Nice 😀🎙🎶🥂
One of the coolest vinyls I’ve seen, have to get it just for the album cover and vinyl design alone
All of E's pals. Nice tribute.
That looks sensational!! Thanks Ed - I will look out for that one. I love tributes to Elvis, his songs sung by other people.
Awesome album Ed!
I have picked one up too from Amazon. 😁👍🏻👍🏻
