At some point in our lives, we all have moments like this. For example, I donated a large cuddly Alsatian plushie that I'd named Zoe today; she'd been my constant companion throughout my four years of University and it hurt to give her up but I told myself I needed the room she was taking up and, being a Volunteer of the Charity Shop I donated her to, I know she'll no doubt find a happy home where someone will love her like I did. On the plus side, I sensibly made the decision in order to accomodate the Skye plushie one of my Babysitting charges gave me for Christmas, as she knows that Skye is my favourite Paw Patrol Pup and being a Cockapoo, the plush is obviously a lot smaller than an Alsatian plush.
I notice everyone moans about Nick's character at the end of his run, but I still liked him even in Seasons 10 and 11. He'd suffered so much loss, and was seeing his old Watch run in ways he didn't agree with. I feel really bad for him when he looks at the picture of the old Blue Watch - he's seeing his late friend John Hallam, and Colin who was invalided out, and Bayleaf, Kevin, Billy and Sally who moved on.
It's the same with Policing; I know an Ex Copper from Gloucestershire who remarks to me all the time "I did thirty years of it, kid, and I'm glad I packed it in when I did! When I joined, it were all about nicking Villains and helping folk cross the road, now it's all meeting quotas and making sure you don't cause someone offence whilst you're nicking them for beating their girlfriend to an inch of her life, simply because the Media will ignore the actual crime and focus on the fact he's coloured!" And there are current serving Police who agree with him, as far up the chain as Chief Superintendent!
One of my fave pieces from London's Burning thank you!

But what's that got to do with this
@@HenryNorfolk-wc3xn It's about dealing with change.
@@flashstudiosguy oh didn't understand
@HenryNorfolk-wc3xn Yeah,bit of an odd analogy, I know,but I made my point.
@@flashstudiosguy and the reason you chose skye is because 2023 was all about her in the film
