Josh you are using the X-drop backdrops in a unique way since I don't believe I have ever seen someone use a background outside in a field during the day. Very creative. I have both Westcott lights and X-drop and would never have considered this system. Thanks for sharing.
I have always been a “think outside the box” person. But I also cannot take full credit. My friend Ashley Boring did it for westcott in a field and it inspired me to head to the woods.
What is the, Ultra cloth and do you have a link? What two backgrounds are you talking about that are wrinkle free or ones that have more wrinkles? Great idea to use natural sunlight to add patterns to the background.
Thanks for the comment. Sadly I no longer work with Background town so I’m unsure of the product links. If you go to their website they have some pretty cool backdrops to choose from though
It is the westcott x drop Pro Stand, partnered with a Background Town backdrop made for the x drop pro. Most of the backdrops at BGT have an x drop size option!
Dudeeee had you not shot these outside and shown me these I would’ve assumed you were in an actual studio Sick work sir 🔥 I also bought this backdrop setup but for inside work because outdoors shoots aren’t my thing There are people outside ohhhhh the humanity 😂
Sony is poop. Westcott is diarrhea. These are awesome photos. Great job sir 👌🏼 (I am a Canon guy and I use Profoto faithfully, so I had to bring some humor into it to rep my brands) Fantastic to the max, awesome idea to bring out the X-drop out into a nature setting!
@@JoshRussell Best comment on the channel!!? Man that's an honor, I'll take that prize with joy! Godox and Nikon users, listen carefully... you get 💩on! Hahaha.. but in all seriousness, me and my family shot with Sony camera's almost my whole childhood. Growing up in my teen years, I had about 3 steadyshot camera's and filmed with the vx2000. Man, so many memories, popping them mini-DV tapes in and trying to get that damn white balance to look spot-on. Sony will always have a place in my heart 🤍
the quality of images you got in such crazy conditions is truly mind blowing!
That’s the power of the westcott light mixed with that background and then really focusing on the entire composition and not just the subject!
Thanks for the review!
Glad it was helpful!

Cant seem to find that backdrop talon, any alternatives?
I am no longer affiliated with the company that makes this backdrop but there are companies like Baby Dream that makes awesome alternatives!

@@JoshRussell I mean the device you used to stretch the fabric
