    Excellent stuff. Goes to show you don't need loads of gear and lights to get awesome portraits. One lights all you really need sometimes.

    Pretty awesome that you're showing folks just how great your images can come out with less gear than one would realize. 🤜🏽

    That X-drop frame and gray drop are my go to set up for images. I photograph dogs for rescues, and sometimes it’s in really tight spaces. A plus for me is the gray fleece is washable.

      Definitely yeah the the fact you can wash it is a HUGE bonus

    Great shoot and a perfect example of how to travel light. I've shot in the RAF Club on numerous occasions, its a great location. Unfortunately, I was shooting production video and had several trolleys containing three camera kits, full lighting rig and sound so didn't have the luxury of working as lightweight as you.

    Wow just a speed light. Well done!..I’m traveling with two AD200s and two modifiers w/carbon fiber stands and it’s light but not that light!

      Yeah for the indoor portraits especially, the Speedlights are more than adequate and yeah keep everything light and very portable ;)

    I am pleasantly surprised to see that a speedlight can be enough to fill a large octobox.

    Hi Glyn. Love your work and the quality of your shots. Obviously the finished product is not straight out of camera. What post settings do you use?

    Say Glyn, would you be offended if I created a background like yours in Photoshop to use in some my 3d work? I would credit you as the originator of the backdrop style and post link to your website...thanks Mark

    I'm considering getting the X-drop system from Westcott, and your vintage gray backdrop. But I'm wondering whether to go for the vinyl, or the canvas option .. what are pros/cons .. ? :) Thanks!

    • @glyndewis
      @glyndewis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Go for the Canvas Effect as the vinyl one can produce hotspots / reflections amnd of you're able go fo rthe X-Drop Pro ... VERY well made, sturdy and packs down great. Foldable material backgorunds make it very portable.
