      @James-tt7vg Thank you. Just as an update, Canon has just released a new battery, the LP-E6P, for its R5 Mk2. It should be backward compatible. Canon says it features higher continuous power and 2 times the amperage.

    The LP-E6NH has replaced it, but the original was rated so low (mAh) that many of the still plentiful 3rd party replacements were already more powerful than both the N, and the NH. There is really no reason for these brands to even offer the NH. For example, Wasabi power. I know many of them are probably overrated, but Wasabi claims Japanese cells. I've had good luck with both those, BM brand, and STK (SterlingTek), and they all work well on my R7.

      Thanks. That's good to know. I also use the SmallRig R5/R6/R5C L-Bracket power supply kit. It has a NP-F battery adapter plate and dummy battery. That allows me to use my Sony NP-F970 batteries that will last more than 4x as long as the LP-E6NH. That's handy for time lapse photography, and also when I'm out at a client's premises on a commercial job.

    Hi CANON EOS 2000D Charger is blinking and not charging, I tried to brush the contacts but still blinking. Any idea why this is happening. Please

      My first guess would be that there's something wrong with the contacts. Make sure the contacts on the battery are clean and that the contacts on the charger are also clean. Brushing might not be sufficient. I would only use a cotton buds or a cloth with a little isopropyl alcohol on the battery contacts but on the battery charger you could try very fine sandpaper. Be gentle so as not to do any damage.

    So the LPE6NH is fine for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K?

    • @DIYVideoStudio
      @DIYVideoStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's my understanding that the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K uses LP-E6 series batteries, so yes, it will take the LP E6NH. The size and connector lay out are the same as the previous LP-E6 batteries.
