I finally had the pleasure to get to go to Barbara's museum back in July 1994. I was so very thrilled and I wish that Barbara had been there at that time because there was so many things I wanted to say to her like "I've been a huge fan of yours since I was 3 back in 1980 and I love you so very much!" I've only been to 4 of her concerts- once my mom and a friend of ours who also worked with my dad, took me to see Barbara in Cincinnati when my parents and I lived in Kentucky from 1979-1982, then I saw Barbara again with my sister in Northern California in 1991 (originally it was a birthday present from my sister to me, but the concert was on my sister's birthday, and she said "no, Barbara is your birthday present Kev, I'm just happy to be here with you." Then my folks and some friends of ours and I saw Barbara at the Stadium Of Fire in Provo in 1994 and then mom, dad and I saw Barbara at Balley's in Vegas that same year and then months later, on to Nashville for the 3 of us.
I saw Barbara in concert at the civic center in Oklahoma city in the 90's. That's when they had the Virginia Slims women's all star tennis champions walk in and sit in the very front row. It was good.
@@pastpresent2223 It was located at 1510 Division Street, Nashville, TN 37203 *just as the brochure shows.* Demonbreun was on the opposite side and the two streets meet (look it up on Google Earth!). Glad you've been there and know all this. I have been there too and took pictures. You will see at 0:16 the entrance is indeed on Division and you can see the Country Music Hall of Fame wall!! 🙄
I think Barbara mandrell is awesome and miss you 😊
