You’re a genius! I hate grommets but using them the way you did made perfect pleats. I just bought a beautiful pair of curtains with tab tops (which I don’t like). I’m going to sew the tabs down & hang them as you did. Thanks for the inspiration.💕

Hi Patricia. Let's see ... the off white ones in the dinning room and the gray ones were in my daughter's room. But she just moved out so I let her take them with her bedroom set

Love this! I cannot stand grommet curtains as they've always appeared cheap. It’s only a matter of time before, who knows, they go out of style. This method gives an elegantly modern look that can be a classic as well.

Thank you Soooooooooooooooooo much. I just order 108 inches curtains but I do not like the grommets. I was going to cut then off and figure out a way to put clips on them. Now I do not have to cut them off. Thanks.

Thanks for this tip; as we know Grommet curtains are far less expensive than pinch pleat so you've saved $$$ for me.
Yes. Thats one of the reason we buy them. Plus the pinched pleats looks its best when they two customized. Sgore bought ones just doesn't have the look. Hope you make over your grommets.

Yes they do. Just make sure the rod is not a tight fit.

Great tip! How much length did you end up losing? Does it effect the width? Also can you share the link to the curtains? 🙏🏽 thank you so much
The link should be in the description box. Did not lose width lost 3 inches in length that is why you need to measure my home is 8 foot ceilings they would have dragged the floor. I purchased 96 inch. For hire ceilings by longer lengths. I will double check link.
