Didn’t you know about Seonghwa in utopia? Oh dear! Hahahahahahahahah Ateez made me like kpop, they are my favorites! And Seonghwa is my ult, i love this man!
I saw a reaction to this earlier with a Korean speaker translating what they were saying in between songs. At the beginning of Crazy Form, Jongho was cracking a joke that was basically about people not standing up when the Captain said to get up, and I think it caught San off guard. 🤣 This is proof that these guys can sing. So many people these days saying that K-pop idols can’t sing and dance like they do, when after watching so many live videos we know better about ATEEZ for sure. I can’t believe how hard they went for it at Coachella. All the hard, fast paced songs with maybe two minutes of talking and no ballads was brutal. Jongho did an interview where he explained that there was basically a sandy windstorm the first week, so the cameras broke and he passed out as soon as they walked off stage. The wind was practically horizontal (they kept releasing smoke, and you can see how hard it was blowing!) Singing into sandy wind is a nightmare. The second week seemed better overall, I think they knew what to expect, no sandstorm, and they made sure the cameras and technical issues were fixed before they started.
I'm not sure when this was recorded but judging by Mingi's look it's very recent and I believe Mingi was sick here? Or maybe he was just getting over his sickness. A couple of weeks ago he was put on vocal rest for a few days, but he still went live while working in his studio... and sounded like death warmed over, poor him 😅 Atiny told him to rest but he said in a scratchy zombie voice that he needed to keep making music ❤ He did really well despite everything ☺ Gotta Work!
This was the best birthday present! I was sooo excited when I pulled up YT and saw it. As a Seonghwa bias, I am always excited when people notice it is him doing the high notes in Utopia. 🤩 He does a lot of parts where a lot of emotion is needed since he can go so low and so high. He can sound light or VERY powerful. They ALL did soooo good. I am so proud of them! I hope a lot of people watch this and finally realize Ateez isn’t just a performance group with a main vocalist.
their killing voice was so good and fun ugh i love them sm!! i'm sad my queen inception wasn't included but not everything can be on the setlist. there was still a really good array of songs here!

After being observed as just good performers (at most) in #KPOP for so long, and just noisy music by many, they finally get to showcase their ultimate ability. AND no, not just their killer vocals, but their solid music, their everything, the #ATEEZ spirit!! Uri #ATEEZ are absolute top tier. The force is immense with #ATEEZ. Especially as a #KPOP group. For me, this #KILLINGVOICE performance felt legendary. You know how you go back to your OG idol/s or group/s and get the legendary feels and vibes. That for me was #ATEEZ, here and now. And remember they're 4th gen kpop, a truly outstanding group considering. 8 very different looks. 8 very different sounds. Together in technical musical mastery. ICONS. They deserve so much. If you want fun ATEEZ variety content, I recommend their recent episode of Idol 1N2D and their episode of K-StarNextDoor which was posted today. They're not only mad talented, but competitive and hilarious too.
This was such a necessary episode. Their raw vocals I feel I want to listen to all the time. You have stuck good self control to skip fever 😂 well done! Halazia is my favourite too so I just keep losing. Not in the tour setlist, not here, not at Coachella, I feel sick 😭 Loved this Killing Voice. Aside from excluding my two favourite title tracks, I think the setlist was well curated and they just killed it. Jongho truly is a treasure like wow. And oh, I, too, can’t wait for you to get to Wanteez, you’ll love this disaster of a group even more lmao, all 8 of them are lovely and chaotic in their own ways! Enjoy your festival!
I‘m 49 years old and saw a lot of boybands come and go including being a blockhead in my teens, not a single one had such fantastic harmonies of voices. But what is even more special is how they nail those insane choreos. As a dancer, this was the main reason I stan them because I see the hard work they put into it, each one of them is an absolute BEAST!
