They are close and there are some of the members were friends even before joining KQ. Mingi and Yunho for example knew each other four years prior. Yeosang and Wooyoung used to be trainees together at BigHit/HYBE a few years before Yeosang left and then Wooyoung determined to debut with his friend left to join him.
You don't have to trust anyone's description of how to pronounce ATEEZ--they say it at 32:24. At least to an American, it does not sound like 80s because the syllables are evenly stressed and the t is hard (crisp/clear unlike 80s).
From left to right,
Jongho - main vocalist, youngest, widely considered the best male vocalist of the Kpop's 4th gen (groups with debut promotions in 2018 through 2022). He loves singing ballads.
San - lead vocalist, main dancer, face of the group
Wooyoung (oo young - there isn't a w in the Korean spelling) - main dancer, vocalist
Yeosang - vocalist with a deeper voice (Halazia demonstrates this well)
Hongjoong - aka the captain (leader) , main rapper, lyricist/production
Yunho - Main dancer, vocalist
Mingi (Meengee - gee like geese) - main rapper, main dancer, lyricist. This is Mingi taking it easy. In live performances, he goes so hard you can almost feel it through the screen 😊.
Seonghwa - oldest, vocalist, sometimes rapper
These guys are not only great vocalists, but incredible dancers and performers. Before they debuted, they trained in dancing in LA and posted a few dance covers which went viral to the point that 6 years later there's still a rumor that they were originally just a dance crew--it won't die. They perform so intensely that three members, (Seonghwa, Hongjoong, and San) have been labeled the demon line, and ATEEZ have received enough acclaim that they were the first kpop boy group to perform at Coachella this April.

FYI, in the kpop industry, group members almost always live together from the time they are chosen as part of their companies debut group, until they become extremely popular/wealthy. ATEEZ shared an apartment until a year or two ago. Now they live in 3 apartments in the same building, so they have their own rooms but it's easy for their managers to pick them up for events.

They're very close, some members even before debuting. Two of them, san and wooyoung (2nd and 3rd from the left), even have matching tattoos that have saying "amicus ad aras" which means "a long time friend"

Ahhhh, my ults! Happy to see you doing them, and definitely hope you continue to check out their music after this. If you enjoyed just the snippets of these songs, their full songs and MVs are absolute🔥🔥🔥
They are by far my favorite artists in the industry! I loved the mix of songs they chose to do. It gave some love to some of their older title tracks as well as some b-sides, as well as featured some of their most popular songs amongst the mainstream and fans. They were missing a ton of my favorites, but I love every single one of their songs so I could never be unsatisfied lol
The group's name is pronounced like you're saying 80s (eighties), and the fans are called Atiny (ate-in-ee). They debuted October 24th, 2018. While their music, vocals, and rap are all amazing, their proper live performances are absolutely insane. From the choreo, to the energy, to the theatrics, it's all god tier. I highly recommend checking out some concert lives or other live stages. They were actually recently on Coachella! The first kpop boy group to ever perform there. Even if you don't do a reaction to it, I 100% suggest checking out their set there. They slaughtered.

yup, ateez are very close with each other they treat each other like a family. they have spent their teenage years as trainees and some are even friends from school. recently their leader/captain (as u have guessed was the shorty with glasses) bought team rings for all of them from his hard earned money from royalties.
the guy with the deep raspy voice: Mingi, he's voice is like that and he was even sick during recording so he had a lot of water bottles.
the guy from the very left is their main vocalist and the youngest: Jongho and the guy beside him is their Lead vocalist and very well known for his falsettos : San

Thanks for reacting, like others have said, it’s pronounced Ay-teez, but if you’re going to say it like eighties, you need to make sure it has a harder ‘t’ than Americans at least would generally say the word, works fine in my English accent!
There’s a clip from this video (of Utopia) which is from what the producers of this can hear, where you can just hear their live vocals and no backing track, which is what Killing Voice is all about.
The rapper with the deep voice, Mingi, his voice is like that, but there’s a slightly rougher quality to this because of his cold. The same with the guy second in from the left (San) that you said you liked his voice.
Yeosang (in the baggy shorts) is the singer with the most naturally deep voice out of them but San, Seonghwa (far right) and Yunho (the one the other side of Mingi) all sing in some songs with a deeper voice too.

The one you said is the leader, he is true.
Their production team is called edenary they are in charge of making their songs ever since their debut and it also includes the two rappers mingi ( the onre with the unique voice his name is pronouncedwith hard G)and hongjoong (the leader)
They are a family.. they are very close to each other and even closte to eachother's families some of them have been even friends before debuting of you see their guide you'll find that them being in one groupe was destined ixm not even exaggerating.
