It’s very sad to hear all the difficulties that have been afflicting the UK lately due to unwise decisions taken by some foolish, if I may say so, politicians. It’s very thoughtful of you to mention other countries in general that may be going through hard times as well. Mine, for instance, is a complete mess. So much so that I wouldn’t know where I should start from. Anyway, let’s try and think positive, hard as it may be in view of the current worldwide situation. Hi Luke and Rick, love from Australia. It was so relaxing to listen to your podcase on the politics with your dad, which I never missed on, LoL. I would fully appreciate your English learning videos and podcast which geared me up of the language level from almost ZERO to four-eight in my latest IELTS test in 2 years. Well, I spent almost 8-hour a day in English learning for about 1 year after landed in Australia. The fantastic part of your English channel is that you brought us so many topics which help ESL people to have a normal conversation with either examiners and normal friends. Hope all the English learners would get support from your channel. Let's back to the politics, even I knew how crazy Ms Thatcher-Cosplay is, but I never know that the whole conservative party would be so many bunch of d*ckheads in. In our side, the dictator ScottMo was replaced from the bus who presented the same level of stupidity as PM BJ and PM LT. Hopefully, there will be more professional inspectors as Mr Rick to monitor these politicians and inspire normal people to join the topic to find the proper way to chew up those mad-bastard. Having said that, I think Mrs. Truss' economic policy, with some adjustments, might makes some sense. However, I still hope for you all (and it's not a secret 😊) that Mr. Johnson can come back to his role as PM. So, I've just listened to Rick's report and I can say that the UK and Spain have at least one thing in common when it comes to politics: both countries' conservative parties want to lower taxes at this particular moment where it doesn't look like the most sensible economical approach. The thing is that the Spanish conservative party is campaigning for cutting down on taxes from the opposition and if they got to the power again, I guess that Brussels wouldn't be willing to let them do it. Anyway, you two are legends: thank you very much for taking your time to share with us your point of view on the current british political affairs 👍👍👍👍
