Does Tim have any friends or acquaintances in his space, who are reputable PM dealers here in the Wisconsin area? I have way too much bullion silver and gold to make that drive to the North East. For the exception of my silver eagles, all of my silver and gold was purchased while living in them Middle East.

OUCH !! I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out.. CUT out actually. I got to experience codeine as a 14 yr old & stomach didn't like it. Misery at both ends.... lol
When I called Tim I told him I'd buy some ASE off of him, even if they're expensive but I didn't care because I was just happy to buy something from him since he answered the phone. He said no, premiums are too high and Eagles are going up tomorrow. He told me to buy Maple's. It's not like he didn't have them, he just knew it wasn't the best deal for me. Great guy to do business with. Looking out for his customers!

After 2 years of delays, I now think one of the reasons premiums are so high around the world is to discourage physical buyers. Mints face supply problems, but use these as an excuse (in conjecture with big financial instructions who short PMs) to increase delivery delays and jack up premiums. The resulting price gap alleviates buying pressure that small investors may impose on big institutions. JMHO.

The short is happening all over the country. I went to my coin dealer today. He had no gold and what silver he had had high premium. He said he got cleaned out Friday.

There is plenty of paper silver to buy. The paper to physical silver ratio is now 370.91 to 1 and going up daily. Gold has stayed at 110 to 1. The more physical silver that is taken off the market the more paper ounces of silver they add to counter higher spot prices. When will it stop 500 paper ounces 1,000? I will keep buying physical silver till the last ounce is gone.

Poland is one of the largest silver producers in the world. Mining is going smoothly, apparently something went wrong at the distribution stage. In Europe, gold is available, but very expensive. You have to wait several weeks for silver from mints (dealers do not keep up with the execution of orders).

I'm not really sure how to read a market where supply is drying up and becoming unavailable, yet the price is going down...even though the premium is going up.
Probably headed into some of the worst times this world has ever seen unfortunately. Crazy premiums still with a dropping price is unreal.

SD Bullion didn't have what I was looking for. I left my LCS the other day with less than I wanted. They had ZERO maple leaves. Placed an order with Tim.....hopefully he can get his shipments soon. The supply struggle is for real.

My LCS has a fine eyed amount of silver right now. I'm definitely seeing a uptrend in people stacking more, or more people stacking...so his silver is starting to disappear. He hasn't had to buy in since the prices have shot up. Fortunately for me most have been focused on buying up his bars, so I've been snagging up all the constitutional I can while it's running at $21.40-$22.00 face.
It's very hard finding average circulated Mercury dimes. I only know of someone selling four rolls for a bloated $230 plus shipping per roll. Apmex doesn't even have any.
When I want to get frustrated and yet still relax I watch Yankee talk with Tim "The Metal Mage" Marschner!

My local is a lot like Tim and Tim's shop. He sells Rosie's for 147 a roll plus tax 10% . Guy at flea market 100 and no tax. That's what I know about coin shops.

Those premiums these days are ridiculous.
Hence the reason why I love Foreign Silver. The last coin show a few weeks ago, I absolutely loaded up on foreign silver "at melt". And it was quality coins, most of which were XF-UNC (crown types, etc) ..., and not trash coins (holed or slicks).
It seems around here anyway..., most collectors only want US coins.., and are basically giving away any foreign 😉🇺🇲

With the cost of fuel going up at the rate it is, this will no doubt drive the cost of mining up for gold and silver. With the spot pricing going down, at what point do the miners stop mining? That should in turn create a shortage and drive the prices back up, but there is already a shortage and prices are going down. How is that? Outside price manipulation or is there another reason?
