There's a Brazilian brand called ulz that has the best leash i ever had to date, is a hands free and 3 way leash with front, back and neck options. The only bad thing about is that they don't ship internationally yet so i had to ask my family to bring me one when they came to Europe in the summer 😅😅
Love your videos and explanation of different products you promote. I think we've come to trust you and honesty is always appreciated. Thanks again to you and the doggos for keeping us entertained and mostly informed in such a classy and funny way 😊
I'm proud of myself. Bought this leash looooong before I ever saw this video for use with the shelter dogs I work with, and it is perfect for me and my new lab/husky mix. We hike about a half mile 3x a day and it is fantastic. Comfortable to hold and wear, good length that is somewhat adjustable, overall, really good.
Thank you for sharing! Was wondering if you have had experience especially with the shelter dogs pulling on the leash since some may not be so well trained with leash walking? How did that go with this leash? It’s my first time buying a rope + hands free leash and wondering about the practicalities of it with a pulling dog. Thank you!! :)
Frankie reminds me so much of my Australian Shepherd who died this year. A friend found me a rescue mini Aussie soon afterward. She's a red merle with blue eyes. Indigo reminds me of so much of her except Sky is a total love bug who loves to cuddle which is unusual for an Aussie.
We sell those leashes at my job and they are so nice! Definitely a must have! *edit to add* You can also wear them around your waist if you don’t wanna look like a “try hard” 😅 Personally I think both ways to wear it look fine. Who cares what you look like while it’s on?
For anyone that has this leash, does it ever become a problem if your dog pulls? Like you feel pulled too much and it hurts/you risk falling? I guess that depends on weight of both the dog and the human: my doggo is 27kg right now :3
Not really. Honestly I too feel more stable with the leash wrapped around my waist that just my wrist or the crossbody style. My dog (60 lb pit mix) pulls a little and over time a section of the leash does stretch out a bit. The section from handle to the dog becomes longer over time. No biggie, you just have to readjust it. My biggest issue is with the clip/swivel area. I’ve had one randomly snap completely apart thus letting my dog loose. Luckily for me he stays close by so it wasn’t too bad but I would say it could be an issue for some…but with that being said, I still own 3 and use daily. They’re hands down my favorite leash for walking my boy.
Have have a large akita puppy who is learning to loose leash walk. Perhaps this is a good leash once he has master that lol Also for burs , try putting a little mineral or cod liver oil or coconut oil on the fur first and they will literal slip out. Pupper will be much happier.
Love handsfree leashes ! If your gf thinks you look silly, boy she should have a look at me when I am walking my dogs ! I am wearing a fanny pack to carry poop bags, treats, clickers and bug repellent. My dogs each wear a collar with id tags, a harness with a traffic handle AND a leash ! XD
I think it looks flyyyy ;) hihi outdoorsy and relaxed. Silly is the new awesome. But..as someone with back and neck problems (to flexible spine etc.) this would be not a good choise for me. If maybe my dogg would pull unexpectedly it could give me days or weeks in pain and a lot of osteopath visits. But the rotating clip is a great invention!
yeah I did see that in your video :) but that's a 'danger' for me as well. Same story. But I love the whole concept. Just wanted to point this out as a tip for other people with back or neck problems @@FrankieToTheMoon
Is the lease heavy? that's what I'm scared of with rope-looking type of leashes. by the way, what's the name of the paint you used in your new house!? love the warm, bright, light lemon shade!!!
The harnesses you use look like a good complement to these leashes. We’ve been in the market for new harnesses for our GSD mix and Aussie for a while now. What do you use? We’d love a video from you on your harness choices! Also Barley our Aussie loves seeing Frankie and Indie go on adventures, best dog tv out there. Kisses to the pups for us ❤
My dog is 115 lbs Great Pyrenees. She is a really good dog but pulls and barks like crazy when she sees another dog. I want to get a hands free leash but I’m afraid she will literally make me fly forward haha. Will it be fine?
I had a hands free leash that went around my waist. When my dog got excited at an approaching car, dog pulled me to the ground! I suppose that a leash that is upper body is better.
I don’t think the leash cost that much. Thank you for the info. I have a red Aussie that is 45lbs and have bought several leashes and harnesses. Finding safe and good quality ones save money in the long run.
This is too much gear to walk your dogs with? 😂😂😂 i wear a snackback (like a fannybag)… often i also wear a vest to carry dummies… or i clip on a waterbottle on the belt of the bag… its total gear-town for me. Your single leash cross body is FINE 😂😂
Looks cool but some things i’d be concerned about: 1) my dog pulls , and might topple me over with this design 2) rope material kind of looks like a toy and my dog might chew it up
Would this leash be a bad idea for dogs that sometimes pull or reactive dogs? Mine walk nicely when there are no triggers but I’m worried about lack of control with this leash if I’m not prepared.
i noticed in this video that Frankie pants a lot. my aussie, pilot, pants constantly and it's really stressing me out. do they just pant more? to jump ahead of the gun, he's not too hot and i don't mean after exercise or in a highly stressful situation. he's just over a year old. right now it's 10.30pm, the house (on the english coast) is cool, he's had a wonderfully fulfilling day of running on the beach, snacking on delicious high grade treats, eaten his very high grade breakfast lunch and dinner, and i'm just taking a procrastination break from work to watch your video (which he didn't see and there were no dog sound effects, to cover all the bases) and yet ...you'd think i were sat next to someone who's just completed an ironman in a desert
Unless you forget to put them in your pocket when you have to go out in a rush. When you have a holder on the leash you can never accidentally forget them
@Slothisticated0252 the holder can run out as well. So much easier to just have pockets stuffed full of bags than carry a bulky holder, but you do whatever suits you man
The @frankietothemoon you have to be more careful when handling your pups hair, it’s very sensitive. I’d like to see someone rip and pull your hair, see if you like it. Please don’t abuse your dogs. And the way you held and pulled him by the harness handle was too much. Please be careful or I’ll have to call Animal Abuse Services.

@@FrankieToTheMoon that's even better 👏👏
For the poop bag holder issue they make ones that Velcro directly to the leash (woohoo for no dangling) ☺️
Im Always pulling burrs out of my charlie! But i totally love him and he brings so much joy to our lives.

So glad to see you back- we know the house was a handful. The pups look so good and happy!
I think the pups are the happiest they have been in a while
Great to see you and the kids.
Thanks 👍
I just ordered this leash after watching your video. My 20 month old mini Aussie is a puller. Hopefully it helps take some strain off my arms.
It definitely makes me feel a little more sturdy when holding frankie

Yes I wear them running with franko all the time and i do love it
Great idea...my aussie (mini) is 6 months old and does great on leashes, so I think this will be a great addition to his gear. Thanks!
good to see you guys!
happy to be here :)

I have heard this! you put it on before you go out? or before you pull the burs out?

one day i should just dress fully outfitted in treat bags, poop bags, leashes and harness like i am going on an expedition and see what she says

Not for my crazies. One good pull and I'll be back free 🤣
haha luckily franko is the biggest i got
And Canis Mountain outfitters has a nice one that is rope, also
ou okay i will check it out

I would say it is in the middle. I find it is similar in weight to those biothane leashes

Jus got 2 mini aussie puppies last week. Have been devouring your content... glad it's there SMH
Ahhh congrats!!! And also good luck haha get a good vacuum 😂
had one for a while after watching your videos, its awesome

What if you got a hands free leash as well as a gentle leader?
Please answer what size harness do you use for your standard aussie? Thanks
I had a hands free leash that went around my waist. When my dog got excited at an approaching car, dog pulled me to the ground! I suppose that a leash that is upper body is better.
I love hands free leashes too! I've made a review about the one I like but I wasn't smart enough to affiliate it lol
My affiliate doesn’t even work lol

I like everything attached in one spot! I even attached the water bottle to the leash cause I like having my hands always free
QUESTION: why don't you use a waist handsfree leash?
This can also go around your waist :)
Looks cool but some things i’d be concerned about:

hehe both good training opportunities :)

For me it gives me more stability because it doesn't rely solely on my wrists. I can wear it around my body as well as having a hand on it

I would get that checked out at the vet to be sure! Just to rule out any issues :) hope he is fine ❤
How long is the shipping?
It was about a week for us
That intro sent me 💀
How about some pants and shoes? Forget the leash crab. Those “police leashes” have been around for years!
I would get it but my dogs are way to crazy 😂
ahah i hear yeah
But the wilderdog leash can do the exact same.
It’s not long enough to go cross body for me
@@FrankieToTheMoon
ohh that's possible. I forgot that they have other sizes. I have the 5 meters.
There’s no need to carry a poop holder, just take out two or three bags from it before you leave the house and stuff them in your pocket
Unless you forget to put them in your pocket when you have to go out in a rush. When you have a holder on the leash you can never accidentally forget them

Don’t be so ridiculous 🤣🤣
A swivel on a leash clasp isn't innovative. And no one should carry a whole roll of poop bags. I just put 2 or 3 in my pocket.
