Todays video is about the second book I read for the Spooky Scary Skeleton Halloween Readathon created by Nicole ‪@NicolesBookishNook‬
I filmed while walking on Cannock Chase, Staffordshire and thought it would be cool to talk about my experience of reading Dark Matter by Michelle Paver... Spoiler alert, I loved it!
Spooky Prompts.
1. Read a classic horror novel (it must be at least 30 years old).
2. Read a fiction or nonfiction book about a serial killer.
3. Read a book that has an orange cover or has the word "orange" in the title.
4. Read a book with ghosts and/or ghouls.

Interesting premise setting a ghost story in the Arctic. I don't ever recall a ghost story set there. You mention the isolation. It is hard to imagine a more isolated place oncd the ship leaves

The setting makes it such an interesting story, the author has been to the Arctic and it really enhances the descriptions of the landscape.
Her other book Thin Air takes place on a mountaineering expedition to Everest, putting these classic ghost stories in such extreme environments is so unique.
