    It's crazy how good it feels to get something as simple as a set of new servos, women won't understand.

    Quick tip just put the end of your fuel bottle in the fuel Sqwees it when it’s inside and then let it go and it should suck up the fuel so you won’t have to poor the fuel in :)

    I’m definitely upgrading my servos now. Thank you for showing us the difference.
    So it’s two years or so later, how are both the servos still doing?

    The jerking yes is high idle and also because of not having the forward only conversion in the transmission. My t maxx did it a lot, I installed forward only conversion and it responds instantly from a dead stop. Best thing I have done so far to the truck. Next are definitely servos. I’m going to order these. Your t maxx ran super great my dude!

    • @GoFastRC
      @GoFastRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I need to get the forward only for my truck. There is going to be a few videos were my truck is not going to work. And I think it’s because of the reverse.

    Can you put the Hot Racing servo saver on the TMAXX 3.3? Would you know of any how to videos on how to install it if you can?

    • @GoFastRC
      @GoFastRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      You would be better off getting a normal servo horn. An aluminum would be the way to go

      Thank you! The reason I ask is because I just bought a ProTek 130SS for throttle and the ProTek 100T for steering. I can’t wait to install them after seeing how much difference the servos made in your truck.

    What is that temp gauge your using to check the head temp

    • @GoFastRC
      @GoFastRC  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      A infrared temp gun. You can get them at home depot for $20! 👍

    What battery set up do you use for that tmaxx?

  • @e-joshrc5877
    @e-joshrc5877 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Those servos look great on the truck. They seem similar to the Traxxas 2075 servos with a hump pack, but way more durable and faster. The bucking on the old TMaxx will occasionally come back no matter the tune. The only way to get rid of the bucking is a forward only conversion and low idle speed.

    • @GoFastRC
      @GoFastRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I have been meaning to get a forward only for the truck because the reverse just seems to cause headaches. But the servos are SWEET!!!! Keep a look out for another tmaxx video!!! It may or may not have broke!! 👀

    Hey man I’m looking into buying the bellcrank from the 3.3 to put it on my classic because the stock bellcrank with that servo saver Is super slow!

    • @GoFastRC
      @GoFastRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Lol that hot racing servo horn plus the 100T is a pretty potent combo!!! Let me know if it fits though cause I am think about doing that to mine as well!! Thanks for the support!!!

    Hey man! Quick question if anyone can help me out, when tuning for the 2 speed to get it to shift should I lean or rich?

    • @GoFastRC
      @GoFastRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would lean it just a little bit to bring up the engine rpm.

  • @yourdad1483
    @yourdad1483 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Is that the 2.5 or 3.3

    • @GoFastRC

      Mine is a 2.5. Thanks for the support!!

  • @rodc8055
    @rodc8055 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    But I like you said I did notice that the low speed makes the idle go higher

  • @garystump5680
    @garystump5680 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It trying to move forward when it's at idle or doing that thing you were talking about it's because the idle speed screw needs adjustment. I'm just trying to figure out why my tmax won't shift into reverse which I figured out it's the servo it will rotate clockwise when shifted into reverse which it should rotate counter-clockwise BTW I'll have to pick up some of thoes servos

  • @joeldude76
    @joeldude76 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Dang! I need to get a new steering servo. I just replaced my servo saver because it came apart and was steering terrible after I tried to put it together. Should of went after market.
    By the way I commented on the clutch last video. I pulled mine apart and replace it. It hasn't walked since.

    • @GoFastRC
      @GoFastRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice, I took my clutch apart and it’s a little tired, but it is still good enough. Honestly the servos completely changed the truck!!!! That hot racing servo horn was the icing on the cake. 😃😃

      Hey I have a question are spur gears easy to Strip and are the servos supposed to glitch with the optidrive

    • @GoFastRC
      @GoFastRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@teagueconley8888 spur gear should last a pretty long time if you have the mesh set correctly. And glitching servos with optidrive sounds like it’s not working right. I have have not really massed with optidrive, but glitching servos are never a good thing. Hope this helps!!
