The silhouette of Asami with the shadow wings is awesome. Never gets old.
This is the song that propelled the band to garner a lot more international attention. You should check out a LIVE version of this track where the ladies killed it !
You keep saying this and it is not true, they were not quite known and the ones who were asked to check out hated Lovebites and talked trash about Asami's voice, what propelled them more was the release of Electric Pentagram, and yet they are still not very much liked because these ladies are far better than all of their favorite bands.
I’d certainly never heard of them before “Electric Pentagram,” but I was introduced to LB and all other Japanese music by BAND-MAID. Aside from that, I was aware of but didn’t look into Babymetal, and while Shonin Knife was once played on MTV, I’ve never liked SK.
@@salsaucedo It's a fact that the band has attracted a lot more international attention after Shadowmaker. 'Attention' in this case can be both positive and negative attention from the public. I don't disagree that Electric Pentagram propelled them even further in terms of the world taking notice, that naturally happens with each new iteration of an EP and LP.

Thank you for coming back to Lovebites. Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale.
Another great band you should check out, if you haven’t already, is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They love to go hard and heavy. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Their tiny bassist even throws in some growls at key moments.

after not playing in concert since 2021 the yeqr Miho founder and bassist left they took a year hiatus and returned summer of 2022 to hold auditions for new bassist where they decided on Fami a young 20 year old bass master this also was her 1st live show with Lovebites and 1st without Miho. Lovebites had 'it' right from the start. You can hear their ability even on rough fan video shot at live venues during their visits to Europe and the UK back in 2018/9. One of my top all time favourite bands.
First song / video I heard / saw from them...nearly 3yrs ago. Hooked ever since. Listen to them daily, driving wife n kids nuts. 😂 Keep it going man. Try Above the Black Sea live 2019. Another banger with a Miyako Magic intro. 🤘

The 1st song for many of the Wolfpack (fanbase) from 2017. It is a better experience LIVE and they have gotten better over the years, think about that for a minute!!! Midori in her dark hair before her current Amazonian phase...LOL. However, the M&M show is on full display here and they have driven each other to be better and chase perfection relentlessly in their performances.
