please, don't let them sink and get forgotten like has happened with other holostars gens, clips like this make me really happy.
Considering it took them all less than a week to hit 100k subscribers, I'm pretty sure they're going to do really well. Especially with their special chemistry. I wouldn't worry about them being forgotten. If anything, they'll also bring attention to the rest of Holostars.
Holostars is actually doing the best it's ever been, if you actually look at their statistics, their growth is way more stable and consistent now than it was in the past. They just don't get many translators doing clips.
If anything I think this generation of Holostars might get more clippers to translate the starsJP members more often.

My favorite part of Holostars is how all 9 of them are all basically family and seeing Cover continue to emphasize that with Tempus has put my hopes as high as the moon.

I really like these guys! They’re a welcome addition to the Holo family as a whole. Can’t wait to see their future collars with the other HoloStars and hopefully the other EN JP and ID girls! I really liked seeing Bae Ollie and A-Chan enjoying their debuts so much.

hello friend, i notice you have used fan arts in several of your clips and i would strongly strongly advise against this. This is currently already a big issue in the fandom and more and more fan artists are decrying use of their work without permission.
As dezzy said, artists are the backbone of this community so please please let’s maintain a proper level of respect and decorum. Let’s not disappoint the boys pls 🙏
Thank you very much for the advice! I will do my best to keep an open communication between the artists and myself to confirm if I can use their art in my clips or not. I am a new clipper so I am still learning and will do my absolute best to try not to make any mistakes or disrespect the community. Thank you again for the advice. I really appreciate it! 🙏

Bruh that phrasing is plain wrong and does bring the fandom in a totally negative way.
I understand english might not be your first language (it isn't mine either), but you should double-check before posting such thing to a content creator.
1) The problem is about *authorization by the artists,* not the fact that fanarts are used in the first place. Plenty of fanartists really enjoy seeing their work being presented and promoted by clippers, that's a fantastic way to reach an audience.
Instead of turning this point into some lengthy drama, just tell the *clippers to ask for authorization first before using some fanarts in their thumbnails/clips.*
2) The second main problem is *crediting and sourcing,* which is something you completely skipped over while you were busy dramatizing the issue.
Clippers should always, regardless of pending authorization, *indicate the artists' name* in the description box (and/or the video credits). That's the very first thing that should be done when using someone's else work.
Sometime, it is not possible to find the source for a fanart you found somewhere else, so you don't know who is the artist. That's fine, try using "Google Image Search" with the picture (then look up some boorus tags) for a bit. Then, if you still can't find the artist, simply add "author: unknown" to the description box and pin a comment asking for the source for the picture, maybe someone will find out who drew this and you'll be able to edit the description box with the right name.
Then if possible, *provide a link* to the artist's tweet or pixiv post for the work, so that people can promote the original post of the art and check out the artist's page. Also known as sourcing, source or sauce.

@@TubeofDestiny my guy you literally read the first sentence and got heated over nothing. If you read the rest of the paragraph and the replies, all your points are already being mentioned. I don’t even think you know enough about artists if you think they’re “happy” about getting “free exposure”.
Its already a big problem in the community where artists are literally locking their accounts, deleting their twitter, removing all their work off their platform. I know using one for a thumbnail doesn’t lead to this extreme, but it is still a part of the issue.
Vtubers themselves have brought light to this by telling the fans not to use fanart without permission for profile pictures, thumbnails, and more. As the first OP comment mentioned, Dez said artists are the backbone of the community, so at least respecting the artists are the least you can do.
I don’t mean offense, and I agree with some of the procedure you have proposed to aid the clipper with linking back to the original artwork. Still, I’d like you to imagine in their shoes. How many people click the link to go back to the original artwork? And yet how many artists do you think have came out saying “no repost/no unauthorized distribution” in their bio?
All I’m saying is, please, ask the artist if you can use their art. If you can’t, don’t. If you can’t find the original, DON’T use it. Easy, simple, respectable.
Sorry to the clipper who’s in the middle of this argument. There were many clippers before you who have done the same and changed their ways of making thumbnails.
P.S: btw leaving “artist: unknown” is the laziest thing you can do. just because everyone else does it, doesn’t mean its right. im sure you wont be saying its “dramatizing the issue”, if it effects you in the first place.

Hololives focus A LOT on the "Seiso" idea (As much as The talents and fans both keep joking and doing their skits of Unseiso shit on Streams, both hardly EVER cross the Seiso Hardlines) and as such you can see by how often they did allow Holostars collab with Holomems, the rstios is as skewed as the KR and JP Idol industries do such.
Nijisanji focuses a LOT on having their Talents Stream, Musical Talent being a very welcome extra when auditioning to them, but they want capable streamers w/ their own knack for Content and skit/Ad lib creation
Thats funny, i think its pretty much the opposite, given I have no interest in niji but I've been loving the holostars. Acting like a base fuqboi doesn't give you personality, sorry not everyone is like your "brilliant" nijifriends LOL. Why don't you just stay with niji and let hololive do what it does, given it has an appeal to people like me, rather than nijioids
