I grew up on Cypress Ave like two blocks away from this King taco. This is great, I live close to San Francisco now. This was a unexpected surprise. I used to go to this king taco location threw the 80's and 90's. They used sell a ton of menudo on the weekends. I remember walking over to king taco and buying burritos with my parents. I remember my Grandpaul came all the way from Independence, Virginia to see the new Three Rivers Stadium, & watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play. Those were the best hot dog. I was 13. Now they have PNC park. I have a peice of the stadium in my flower bed. I still love my Pirates. I used to go with my Brother's when there was a seat available with the Boy Scouts. The last year I went to a game at the Three Rivers Stadium was when I won 5 tickets @ my 20th class reunion. My nephew took his mit, & caught a ball autographed by one of the Colorado Rockies. Surge was just coming out, there was a dumpster dive into these Surge bottles, & you won whatever was on the paper inside the bottle. We won hats, shirts, & more tickets to come back. Good memories! That hot dog was the best!

Always watch these before lunch! :-) Bad idea, but great to watch! Keep doing them - love everything from the food ideas to the local history you present. Not being from the area (Canada here) it's given me lots of ideas of where to eat next time I'm in Southern Cal!
King Taco. I like how they fix their soft tacos. Never knew you could put cauliflower and carrots on nachos. Interesting concept. After you ate the soft tacos I was thinking you ought to put the rest on the nachos right at the same time you thought of it yourself. These food series gives me a reason to smile and learn about things I never knew existed before. God bless you for doing this for as long as you’ve been keeping it going. 😊👍👍
King Taco is know for their spicy red sauce. I dont think I've found a place to replicate that red sauce taste. You need to have it Adam, along with the carne asada on the nachos. Do a part 2 LOL

¡VIVA THE WOO! Glad you made it to the OG King Taco. Try a carne asada sope next time. Those are my favorite and the horchata (ORR-CHA-TA) is very refreshing. The green sauce is my go to.
