You have such an interesting way of speaking lmao. You describe basic things in such strange detail. You’ll be like “I must remove the reflective [pause].... reflective outer casing. Preventing the heat.... from protruding... permeating... festooning out from the food item” instead of saying “foil”

I grew up on Cypress Ave like two blocks away from this King taco. This is great, I live close to San Francisco now. This was a unexpected surprise. I used to go to this king taco location threw the 80's and 90's. They used sell a ton of menudo on the weekends. I remember walking over to king taco and buying burritos with my parents. This was a great video brought back a lot of good memories ☺👍

I’m so envious. As a kid in the 70s, LA was a golden place. I watched all the Jack Webb produced cop, fire and detective shows. I spent every summer morning with Price is Right contestants from all over the greater Los Angeles area. I only got to visit LA once and had no time to do anything. I should drop everything and go now, but until I do, I’ll live vicariously and follow along on your trips to these awesome eating spots.

I remember my Grandpaul came all the way from Independence, Virginia to see the new Three Rivers Stadium, & watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play. Those were the best hot dog. I was 13. Now they have PNC park. I have a peice of the stadium in my flower bed. I still love my Pirates. I used to go with my Brother's when there was a seat available with the Boy Scouts. The last year I went to a game at the Three Rivers Stadium was when I won 5 tickets @ my 20th class reunion. My nephew took his mit, & caught a ball autographed by one of the Colorado Rockies. Surge was just coming out, there was a dumpster dive into these Surge bottles, & you won whatever was on the paper inside the bottle. We won hats, shirts, & more tickets to come back. Good memories! That hot dog was the best!

Really enjoy your food videos at the moment. We're in UK and watch them every night when were having our tea (dinner, whatever, 6pm). Liking your longer hair too, not so much when it's scraped back tho, but I can totally relate because can't get a haircut here either! Keep up the fab videos, looking forward to Disney ones too xx

That table is cool! Reminds me of a similar bench still at my mom's house! Its bare concrete though! Really cool! Probably 80s or older! Also the plant I used to work at made cauliflower puree for pizza crust and such!

Awesome, you made your way... that red sauce is definitely an acquired taste, and it is HOT!! I’ve gone as far as to bring back red hot sauce in a small Gatorade bottle and tacos to my dad in Fort Worth Texas. That secret recipe for the red sauce will prob never be released. My go to order is a Al Pastor Burrito and a order of carne asada nachos with an Orange Bang, if they still have it. Have not been in LA in well over 4 yrs. thinking of going to visit this winter. You’re video upload is nudging me lol

So glad you went to KT... the asada with salsa verde (the green one) is the best! I never really liked the nachos cause the get soggy by the time I get back home. But the tacos and burritos marinate so good with the onion and Cilantro on the way home that I always choose to wait to eat it all.

¡VIVA THE WOO! Glad you made it to the OG King Taco. Try a carne asada sope next time. Those are my favorite and the horchata (ORR-CHA-TA) is very refreshing. The green sauce is my go to.

Hey Adam. Horchata is as served and made here and in Mexico is a mixture of rice milk cinnamon and sugar.

Also, the toppings on the nachos are pickled. You will see this mainly at REAL DEAL Mexican food places as opposed to commercial Mexican restaurants. You will usually see a vat of pickled Jalapenos, slices of carrots, slices of red skin potatoes, bay leaves and a spice blend. I have not been to a King taco in a while and am overdue. Enjoy Adam!
