In the USA phone use while driving causes more crashes than drunk driving.
In Sweden its illegal and a almost 180 USD fine.
Dutch data from insurances companies suggests mobile phones while driving have more than double the number of accidents, with some regions having their accident rates tripled.
In Ontario Canada, the fine is $110.00 CAD and 2-4 Demerit Points (not sure on points, it's been awhile since I saw a warning billboard for it)

Har aldrig fattat om folk verkligen inte begriper vad som händer med en personbil när den kolliderar med en lastbil.
Såg en video för någon dag sedan där dom krocktestade en stillastående lastbil och personbil och köra en lastbil i 45kmh in i bilen, bilen försvan in under släpet på den första lastbilen, tänk då vad somhänder i 80.
Ungefär som att hoppa på en tub med rött smörjfett - rött och kletigt.
I have seen many accidents in my time on the M25,M3,M4 none of them pretty..stupidity kills just as easily as speed
Det är som folk som går över järnvägen och inte ser sig om för det finns ju bommar... Men det blir ju väldigt tråkigt när bommarna felar.
Jag räknade lite på rörelseenergi för olika fordon för länge sedan när jag gick i skolan. Jag satte en 50tons lastbil i 90 från ena hållet, och min Toyota på 1140 kg i 90 från andra hållet. Efter smällen fortsätter lastbilen i 86 km/tim med Toyotan som kylarprydnad. För att få samma rörelseenergi på bilen som lastbilen var den tvungen att precis bryta ljudvallen och åka ca 1340 km/tim. Inte helt exakt och vetenskapligt rätt att räkna på detta viset, jag vet, men det ger en fingervisning om hur dumt det är att bråka med en lastbil i alla fall.
I took it forward to DB Schenker about the truck driver, they contacted the company that drove for DB in that truck, and they would take it with the driver. They said it was not how they wanted their packages to get transported, and said "incredibly sad to see" - "Quality & Environmental Specialist" at DB schenker.

I have to say this dashcam driver is displaying poor decisions and aggression that we don't see in your videos.
4:25 is just crazy, he maintains the speed making the overtake last longer and then in the end begins an eternal overtake as "revenge"?
Totally agree with you. I had not read the info and was not paying attention at the intro (lesson learned ;) ) , so I was like "huh...why has his driving style changed this much? How not laid back and almost aggressive". Funny how you get used to someone's driving style just by watching their videos :)

This a... actually even accelerated from 85 to 87 to make it virtually impossible for the other driver to pass... If I were the other driver, I would've pulled over just like this.
@@chrish.950 Thats not really accelerating...the speed that is showing comes from the GPS in the camera...and that is inside a big cab. So the speed can jump
up and down a bit. Also, a heavy vechile is rarely "dead on". Up and downhills will affect speed a lot more.
Well...thats just sad and dangerous. Not how one should act in a big truck.

4:27 I hate trucks that do that. The overtaking one was clearly silly for trying the overtake for the extra 1mph he was going but the camera truck is equally stupid for not dropping back to let him in. Would only cost the camera truck 10 seconds or so max.
Late reply, but, the truck does not at all need to let the car in and suddenly slowing down wouln't really be all that safe for cars behind

There was a big gap infront to bait the Schenker truck to turn right, then accelerated after the bait was picked.

Stockholm is an outlier for Sweden, and not in a mild way.
I must have had a misconception of Sweden as top-grade or no mistakes cuz your drivers/ pilot are just as crazy as ours(USA). Taking a bat to the offensive car just cracked me up‼🤣🤣🤣 Those men sitting outside the car would have been stopped by the HWY Patrolmen but in Montana, it's normal to see 4 to 6 people sitting in the back of the pickup, driving on the country roads. The "Look MA, no Hands!" on the steering wheels reminded me of my Dad used his knees to steer the wheel while his hands trying to open the package. You typed 'more people unimpressed' but I'M impressed that you got the gumption to get after that trucker. Your honking on that Porsche jerked a good laugh out of me.😂 I just had to watch it again. Thank you❣

Alltid roligt att höra kontrastet mellan när dem medelar olyckor på dagarna jämnfört med när vi hör dem på nattradion när man har den igång på verkstaden.
Märks ibland att någon var tvungen att vakna för att slägna ut ett medelande. Haha.
I'm glad you gave us a few more seconds of Stockholm city centre. It looks beautiful and I have always wanted to go to Scandinavia, but have never gotten any further than the transfer lounge at Copenhagen Airport on the 30th July, 1991. The day I left for Japan and have been here ever since. That's why I remember the date, I have always had to write it as the date of entry when renewing my visas - I have a permanent residence now.

Dom är bara några få år med körkort och dina klipp är kanon för att se vad som händer ute på vägarna. Dina filmer borde användas av trafikskolorna som utbildningsmaterial!

That truck was hauling ass and probably had to hit the brakes hard. It took that truck about 3sec to reach the spot where the bus pulled out and with the bus at nearly a standstill pulling out....

That Scania DB Schenker Sandber Jonsson truck is still Going today, but its in Sundsvall and under a Diffrent Compani name, Godsservice and i used to drive that truck and trailer to XD

I am shocked over the driver of the dashcam truck. I have been a truck driver in Sweden for many years and we have a code of honor, which means that you assist your fellow trucker in every way you can. You help your fellow trucker when he needs to shift lane. You don´t hunt him with your horn and try to make things difficult for him like the dashcam "hero" in this video. Shame on you!
I think thats a code of honor for busdrivers 🤣 If your fellow trucker is fuckin up other peoples vehicles by carelessly forcing himself through traffic, then you'd play yourself for a fool for trying to help him. The first instance in the video he should absolutely have his license revoked. That vehicle is incredibly heavy, he needs to have the upmost consideration for others in traffic, which he does not.
The way I see it, he's already killed someone, its just a matter of when.

Hi Andreas, I see the driving standard has not changed much in Sweden, I wonder if it is a lack of sunlight in your very short winter days.
Without enough sun exposure, your serotonin levels can dip. Low levels of serotonin are associated with a higher risk of major depression with seasonal pattern (formerly known as seasonal affective disorder or SAD). This is a form of depression triggered by the changing seasons, or maybe just very bad driving perhaps?

@@Azdeus Enklaste man kan göra är att lyfta blicken längre än det som är framför motorhuven. Med lite erfarenhet kan man snart planera och glida runt som vatten kring sten, samtidigt som man tänker på nästa avsnitt i Big Brother!

@@TheStefanskoglund1 ah, ja, men om man sen ska vidare söderut måste man veta att essingeleden delar på sig och att två av fyra filer fortsätter in mot city och sen mot Nynäshamn. Det är sjukt dåligt skyltat i förväg där, det är många som får smärre panik när de ligger i tre eller fyra och inser att de inte kan ta sig över i tid. Jag har själv gjort det misstaget en gång och brottas nu hellre med påfarterna än fastnar för långt åt vänster.
