There were rings in that game if not all stages were rings. Vendetta first started out as more wrestling, it’s Fight for NY that was more general brawling and arenas that wasnt all ring based.

UWFi's "ShootWrestling" Should Be Done in a PPV Review Episode
I think it was a wrong place wrong time. If something like this popped up during WWE starting their monopoly (early 2000s) or even like while Lucha Underground was hot there could have been a market for it. Hell I'd watch it. Lol

From a Pittsburgh girl to one of my favorite philly rappers, this was the best collab Brian ever had. Thank you for 10 seasons Brian. I love the channel. Now to watch it again.

How did we sleep on Eddie Kingston? He's one of the best promo guys working today. Goosebumps every time. He might not be flashy or have catchphrases but he doesn't need them.
Dude's been everywhere for nearly two decades now. Chikara, CZW, PWG, IWA-MS, RoH, Jersey All Pro Wrestling, TNA for two runs, and even NWA, That's just counting places he hung his hat for longer than a cup of coffee. If you missed out on Eddie until now, I both envy and feel sorry for you. I feel sorry because he's always been King and you've been missing out, and I envy because you can go back and watch some of his stuff with fresh eyes.
One of the reasons that I love Ran: as soon as he said the "sad song" bit, I immediately said the "died so young" bit with him

Every now and then a creator I follow makes me wish I could apprentice myself. Brian Zane is one of those creators. knocked it out of the park again, sir. Plus Mega Ran? Too good.
back between 2000-2002 we had a really low budget wrestling promotion that wrestled out of Queens NY and we always used a place called the Dog house, back then we would share one of the two rings with guys like Amazing red, Low Ki and a few others and a dude named the Grim Reefer …..I didn't even know he was still wrestling into the late 2000's at UWF kind of funny to see this now.
Grim Reefer was good. Also great seeing the Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz in this video.

I've only heard of the urban wrestling federation never actually had the chance to watch any of their shows. But since they're on Pluto tv now I think I'll check it out. Honestly seeing the Def Vendetta concept come to life is a pretty cool sight to see. Also that outro was badass!

I actually found out about Mega Ran when I saw Coin Op Crush at a Goodwill a few years back. Bought the CD, took it home, remembered I no longer owned a CD player (forgetting that my PS1 can play CDs) and listened to the album on TH-cam instead. Only cost me 80 cents and was worth everh penny and then some.
Mega Ran rules so hard man. Its cool to see an artist that uses wrestling in their music. So sick
