This is exaclty what I needed. Since AM changed so much I really started to miss they old sound and these guys sound so great and kind of remind me the goold old Humbug. Really great tune and awesome flow that it feels like few seconds yet it lasts 3 minutes. I'm seeing them live this summer and honestly can't wait.
Nearly 60 and mainly a rock and metal fan, but Blossoms write classics, and I think for me this is their ultimate. Don't know what it is, but this just has that something.

How I hate the nonexistent music scene-and it got hugely worse with every year from 1990 onwards but every now and then, something really nice, decent and worthwhile gets made...this is one of those things and I've never heard of these guys before, but the best things remain in hiding while all the Katy Perry/Rhianna/Kanye West/Madonna/Mariah Carey/Calvin Harris/Taylor Swift etc. SHIT remains in full glare of eyes and ears and YUCK!!

That IS surprising though. Admittedly I've come across a few nice shocks on spotifiy and facebook, things that get a limited release, but when you put today's pathetic dead scene up against the 80s where good music poured from everywhere it just didn't match. Of course there is no new thing under the sun-just about every type of song, give or take a dozen or so, where already covered and sewn up even before the 90s appeared but people have no right to be shit a million times over since when it comes to making music.
In who's world then cos I've never heard nor seen them. Think you mean the 80s, it was only decade where the talent actually matched the crap in numbers and output, in fact out massed them by a fair distance, stats unheard of in ANY other decade, not least the following, and you thank Madogga the vile, Waterman, Cowell, c/rap and the rise of the stupid easily led human being as the main causes. Lack of taste too, talk about sunk in apathy, though in acid would be more deserved!

There is great music out there. You just have to spend time and look hard, but it is there, and plenty of it. The 80's were great, but most of the great ones were not played on the radio anyway--at least where I live--it was thanks to MTV, the first eight years or so, when the really wonderful music came to light. The MTV of today is just plain shit, am being kind.
Radio stations have always been shit, playing only what the big record companies want to sell, no guts at all, if one act is successful, they look for ten more that sound the same. Then again, I do not blame the radio stations or record companies as much as I blame the public in general for being too lazy and not requesting, demanding to hear other artists.
Was searching for this totally obscure band named Blossom and this and other videos of this band came up, clicked it, did not regret.

North Wales :) the quarry scenes are Moel Tryfan Quarry, when she is running along the road it's a village called Y Fron and a few bits filmed in Llanberis aswell!

I just found my New favorite band of 2016 the awesome blossoms! I love everything about this infectious pop masterpiece it's got a kinda 80s meets the 60s feeling. the vocals are outstanding, the arrangement is mesmerizing and catchy as hell. I'm bopping around my house listening to this brilliant pop song. love love love this. these guys need to be mega stars right now :-) :-) :-).

I know as much as you, all I know is that Blown Rose is on the album when reading an article. I know that the vinyl for this doesn't come out till the end of May so I'd imagine the album would be near the end of the year? Maybe August/September..
