There's a lot of ebike specific gear/components being introduced, is it any point chosing this over the regular stuff? This time I'm looking at an ebike specific backpack from EVOC and comparing it to the regular EVOC FR Enduro.

Good in depth review. I haven't seen any reviews , just mentions of ebike specific packs. I hadn't seen the actual features. That pack looks like a top exsmple

Fantastic review, I was thinking about having a weird carrier for the battery because landing on the battery that you carry on a crappy backpack would be painful. Man you should set a link with Amazon to sell this things, I will love to support your channel buying this kind of products from your link.

You should make another review about the tools you carry on it.

I own a Juiced Hyper Scorpion. I’ve been looking for a way to carry an extra battery. My bafang battery is less that 41cm long but how wide is the opening of the battery pouch? Width and height?

I have the very long Turbo Levo battery and with the rock guard on the battery it sticks out the top of the pack, but with a short bungee cord I can secure the zippers at the top and make it work. Not ideal but workable. The battery fits if you remove the rock guard but that is more involved with the Gen3 rock guard. Not worth the effort to remove it IMO. Also I do not use the battery sleeve in the pack for the Levo battery.

Why, why did they route the hydration tube at the bottom??? Seriously.. such a great pack let down by that design flaw. :(

@@EMTBVideos yes i'm sure they have a good reason. i'm really undecided whether to get it, i'm going for a long ride in the Peak District here inthe UK, lots of rocky descents and i'd like a safe and decent backpack to carry my spare battery.

Very good question! I just spent a couple of hours trying to solve that problem with a 2l Camelback bladder. Stock hose length tends to crimp and shut off the flow. The solution I found was buying a part at the auto parts store to be able to lengthen the hose to be able to route it up and around the top of the bladder to eliminate the crimping. Works great now.

I do have the same evoc backpack and with mine the waterhose is routed through the top and clips on the rightside strap over the shoulder, don't know of evoc has changed this through the years

Kinda have to be a hardshell for battery protection. Sure you get some padding but no real puncture protection. and its a lot extra for that little padding compared to the standard.

Yeah, it's more about protecting your back from the battery. Which is a good idea. It's not protecting the battery.
