I like how they kept a similar animation despite changing the studio
I fully agree with this I was a fairy tail fan for a long time and to see the animation looking very similar with some fixes makes me very happy!
The question is though, will the fights be better? Because let's be honest, the fights in the last arc of fairy tail were not good. They kept doing 1 frame of animation etc.
I really wished they changed the artstyle back to how it looked in the first few arcs. im still hyped though

@@virtualwaifuwell to be fair, Mashima isn't the artist for 100yq and is only writing and story boarding. But the current artist for the manga and the one for the anime (I actually dont know if its the same as the manga ill have to check) have done everything they can to match his style and i think that theyve done a great job. as a long time fan, I couldn't be happier.❤
God Fairy tail was my first anime and i loved everything about it .. the comedy, the action, the music...And the Ost is still a banger ...That dragon force ost improvised version slaps so harddd... 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I've watched other shounen anime before like Naruto, Bleach, Black Clover, etc. And i think Fairy Tail is great, & kinda similar with Black Clover. If you mind about the "Power of Friendship" (which is the basic of every/almost shounen anime), don't watch it.

God knows the series is far from perfect; Death fakeouts, asspulls, very few compelling villains, minimal worldbuilding, just a general fear of meaningfully changing the status quo...

For anyone who wants a spoiler-free context, this sequel series centers around the main cast of Natsu, Lucy, Grey, Wendy, Erza, Happy, and Charle as they decide to take on the quest that Gildartz had been on before he was injured by Aconologia. Its called 100-Years Quest because that's how the long it would take a normal person to complete the job (stating how difficult it is). They get hired to defeat the Five Dragon Gods, the five strongest dragons in the world now that Aconologia is gone. (The rest of Fairy Tail does appear in the series, but its more focused on around the 7 mentioned above)
It looks like only water dragon god fight is going to appear in this new season.
