    For awhile there were a bad batch of contactors that were coming out but now their past that... Dead give away do you hear it click it not check for 24 volts at the contactor and if you do have 24 volts then check the resistance of the contactor it could show an open or direct short across the coil...

    I have an older GR20 with brand new batteries that I’ve load tested good and a charger that puts out 28v but my machine only runs about 30 minutes. Any thoughts what might be draining my batteries?

    Someone has an idea why my gs 1930 is not lowering? Either with the emergency release
    All other functions work except this one
    Thanks

    Jlg and Skyjack would call it a line contactor at I could see where it could be a pain if it was failing intermittently. Jlg Es scissors will at least give you a fault code and they usually just go bad and thats it. Good to know for these genies.

      I know JLG usually tell you a code Genies do too but jlg seems a bit eaair as of getting codes

    I have awp30s and 25s mine reads 6 ohms on both 10v coils. One motor starter coil clicks multiple times likes its slapping, that one is 3 ohms to ground. The other just buzzes and its 6 ohms to ground. Both batteries are weak so the test is while pugged in. Could the starter coils be bad on both?

    I have a genie 2632 with the same issue (lift, Steer and drive function not working, alarm going and codes all on) but that solenoid is not there…kindly assist

    clicky relay no worky Clean contacts with emry paper or get a closed sealed relay maybe. I have same no go thing with a GS-1930 lift. Relay clicks no go. Last time it was the motor controller.

      Another issue with the genie scissor lifts are alot of dust or debri in the pump itself. If relay clicks and still doesnt move, open the side door where the hyd oil goes, and behind it you will see the pump, smack it while moving joystick and see what happens, also rn some compressed air in it. For some reason its really easy for it to stop it. Its well worth it

    My GS-1930 started doing this. Batts are fully charged, but when I try any function it just beeps and doesn’t do anything. I tried tapping the solenoid, but that didn’t help. Does anybody have a suggestion where to go from there?

    Thank you. I have a problem with a Genie IWP'-25 I was hoping to get working. Problem Is that it does not stay up. Keeps going down. It started slow with a couple of times going up then it would go down but then it got really bad really fast. Would you happen to know where and what could be causing it.

      Its prolly a leaky hydrolic piston seal in the lift cylendar. I have leaky ones in my Kubota. Take the lift up put up the safety bar try and read the number on the cylendar collar. buy a new seal kit. To put it on takes about 2 hrs RnR, or take the cylendar into a parts house they can look at it and tell you which kit to buy. Its usually 3 O rings. Abt $13-23

      Check your check valves for the cylinder thats leaking down. Safely remove the check valve, just make sure the machine is down. Then clean it real well and most of the time that fixes the issue, ir might just need a new one.

    Could this still be a problem if the platform controls with still lift and lower the lift? When switched to platform controls, nothing happens though.

    • @avilaagustin1
      @avilaagustin1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really with this issue, when you switch it do you get anything at all? Does the little green screen come up? The alarm maybe or does it not do anything at all?

      @@avilaagustin1 Function switch on the joystick was bad. Found the same wire half broke all the way down. Changed the joystick. Back to working again.
