For anyone wondering about Paradox; he IS canon to 5Ds along with the Bonds Beyond Time Movie. Paradox actively worked with Z-ONE, Antinomy and Aporia prior to going to the past to try and save the world.
As for its placement, my guess is that it takes place between the Dark Signers Arc and the WGRP.

It happens at some point after Bruno's arrival but before the Crash Town Arc, as when Yusei is thinking about his friends, Bruno is present but Kalin looks as he did when he was an Enforcer/Team Satisfaction, which really narrows it down to about a three episode stretch when it could take place

I’m disappointed the the series never continued in English, but damn I’m surprised watching Yusei dueling his future self 😮

Z-one is not yusei future self, zone is from 200 years in the future

@@Comment_Riderthe one key difference being yusei would never resort to sacrificing others for the sake of the future, so that’s why it being someone who tried to copy his actions, but not his beliefs, works so much better. If it was his future self it wouldn’t make sense why he would try to kill everyone

lemme make it lame: At 3:40 Yusei could Synchro Summon for Junk Archer, banishes the timelord with its effect and attacks with everything for game. If only Yusei didn't have to put Junk Archer away to add team 5d's dragons 😂
