The fanbase wanting Kelleher are deluded, he isn't dropping a division, nor a starting Liverpool slot, to come to Leeds. These fans need to take their heads from up their own backside and return to reality.
If we are promoted, and if Kelleher decides he no longer wants to be no. 2 at Liverpool, why shouldn't we bid for him? Read somewhere he's currently valued at 30 mil, which seems low. Anyways, a lot of ifs to be sure.
Was he ever really on the boil? He showed some promise when he first came into the side, but I really don't think he's improved at all over the last couple of seasons. I've only ever rated him as a decent Championship keeper. To use your water temperature analogy I'd say it was only simmering at best.
Brilliant comment! I wish these idiots would understand , they don't actually get how Farke's sides play. The ten position and wingers are more defensively utilized, it wouldn't matter if we brought a prime Glenn Hoddle in, he probably wouldn't get a start!
It's the system that's the problem, this obsession with central overloads is a major flaw teams have found easy to negate, same with the 'low block' nonsense bandied about, all the points lost on the road have come about by opposition teams having a really effective MIDDLE BLOCK, most recently at Preston and the defeat by Blackburn, a case in point. Most of our fanbase will just say Rothwell or Tanaka were crap, but totally fail to understand why.
No.9, No.9, No.9 as well, Aaronson needs to learn how to shoot, why can't we take decent free kicks, why on earth does Rothwell take all free kicks and corners ????????
Whoever we get (if anyone) lets do the business early and not clown around for a month - then weeks for the players to get up to speed. Unless of course its someone thats already player like Turgeman who is playing - which is the perfect scenario
I think it would be good for all parties to let Meslier go, I think he has improved some elements of his game but some of his weaknesses remain and not sure we can really point to a lack of experience anymore. New attacker to freshen things up would be nice and a number 10 only if good enough for the prem, which may make it difficult.
Leeds will be foolish to let any player go in January unless we firstly bring in players better than who we have, and as for Meslier, less than 20mil would be stupid, we bought him for 5, we've developed him, hes had a lot of experience at a high level, and hes still young for a no.1 GK, and i personally think if we got a world class or at least high class GK coach in the summer, Meslier would improve further
@@LeedsUnitedTheView We need a quality no.9 who will put some of them bad misses away and with that knock on effect will keep that extra pressure off our defence that bit more, it will do us wonders
We absolutely need a decent striker and have needed one for years. The owners are fools if they don’t YET AGAIN invest in a striker, they will be complacent beyond sanity.
If Bamford leaves in January we need a replacement, as for anyone else going in January is just folly, this season we need to push onwards and upwards, wait until the summer before letting anyone else go?
Great content, as always! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Not what he said. He said they may increase investment in the club without the extra stake. Also this story was sources and put out prior to Joe running his. So he has some updated info and I've plans to update tomorrow.
Messlier has become a better player during his time at Leeds but his game still has its weaknesses. Disregarding the freak goal a few weeks ago, he doesn’t dominate his 6 yard box from corners and free kicks as he should, also he seems to let in saveable shots too easily, not to mention the number of times his goal kicks go straight out of play thus giving possession to the opposition. He will stay should we get promoted and then decisions will have to be made.
Number 10's, another true striker, midfielders... its all we seem to be looking at when our downfall at the moment is our absent defence. Home form in my opinion is purely down to us, the 12th man. Our away form isn't one that a team looking at promotion can seriously accept. If we all believe that the players we have then the blame must be laid at Farke and his tactics 🤔 not sure if it's not simply that we're switching off at the back with all our focus being going forward. Thanks Ger, better starting reading the Mail 😉
Good. If Red Bull is making an investment in Paris FC here's what they can do. Send us Ilan Kebbal in January and they can have Meslier in the summer for pennies. Both Remy Riou and Thomas Himbeur are out of contract in the summer.
MESS-LIER is a weakness for Leeds he is the weakness I don’t know where he has improved he can’t kick straight he plays the ball to put his defence in danger he can’t save covering just one post he is absolutely useless where is he’s improvements
@NibberKSmooth I couldn't disagree with that more. Lack of ambition, they are right on the cusp of PSR violation by spending on the largest wage bill in the league and the most spent by a club in the summer. The club is in its second season down 150 million for each one. They've been as ambitious as the rules allow at this point. Premier league football will test the theory more though.
Mealier needs to do two things. 1 Come and catch the ball at corners. He is 6 ft 6 for God’s sake. 2 Kick the ball out immediately to our No 9. Get the ball out of our half. STOP fooling around with the ball and putting our defenders under pressure. Playing out is fine if you have space time and good defenders.
Hope Farke doesn't go crying to the board when Meslier gets banned, suspended or injured before the end of the season & we don't have a decent backup replacement.
Meslier must be dropped / sold THIS WINDOW. If he continues, we cannot go up this season. GK is too important to mess about with, the most important position on the pitch and he sucks real bad. Waiting till the Summer, our fate will be sealed. If we don't go up this season FFP dictates we will have to have a fire sale of our best players and cut wages, then it's pretty much game over for our hopes of ever playing in the top flight again. Our investors will divest and walk away.
I couldn’t disagree more with just about everything you say here. Meslier makes mistakes, but also key saves. Not good enough for PL, but definitely good enough at this level. We need a PL level goalie, which we are not getting in the Champo. If we don’t go up, we sell players, like we did last season. But a firesale? Why? We didn’t have a firesale last summer. We got more than £100mn for three players. Never getting back into the PL? What are you talking about? 49ers and Red Bull sell? No, they replace Farke, but they’re not selling up. They have a project and will continue to do what they need to get us promoted. Sorry, but this is hysterical nonsense.
@@LeoDragon34 Next season not like last season. Allowable losses after 2 yrs in champo will be much less than they were last year. (1 yr in prem + 2 yrs in champo vs 2 yrs in prem+1 in champo) Revenue lower as parachute payments reduced. Will be forced to cut current wage bill and offer incomers much less. Great update Ger looking forward to the breakdown later this evening 👍

No1, No10, No9 and possibly a No 2/3 in old school numbering - and get rid of a No1 and a No9 at the club
Letting Wober go in Jan would be so silly, if we do 1st of Feb Pascal will get injured.

ive no idea what any of the means mate :D
Louie Barry would be a nice loan signing
It's also unlikely Salzburg will be looking to sign anyone right now, as they just sacked their manager Pep Snjinders (or however you spell it)
@@777jimothy so the new manager won't want any signings?
@Harry-lifeleedsandmusic it's usual practice to get the red light from the manager , so they aren't wasting money on players the new coach won't play
Barry is such an obvious choice that we certainly won’t get him! He will go to Boro and they will secure top 6 or Burnley and get them top 2!
Surely everyone knows now that a goalkeeper and a proper goal scorer are needed for top two if Burnley go on a run it's the playoffs for us again
Is it worth saying ilhan kebbal?
yeah mentioned in the summer, were gonna take a look at options next week,

Yes we need two natural goal scorers .Too many chances go missing

no mate, i have an auto immune disease and it effects my eyes sometimes. like the third time since the start of the summer this year.

Red Bull counting down to buy Leeds United.
Be a long count down. 49ers won't be selling up till Leeds are European club and they get the maximum sale value.
Slowly but surely Red Bull getting closer to owning Leeds Utd?.
Not guaranteed just yet. But keep a eye
It would happen eventually, it's just a matter of time.
I’m ok with that; the current owners are far too conservative and lack actual ambition.
