@@evanmiller2562 the zombie that attacks them is Private Poorly. Private Sand is just a palette swapped version of Nikolai. Private Poorly is identical to Nikolai with the exception that he's a zombie.
This cutscene used to scare the shit out of me. The zombies in Siberia always did. The way they stumble towards you, completely silently, with their pale faces and down-pitched voices. Zombies that look almost human have always seemed scarier to me. Like, the zombies in Notre Dame are just putrefied and mummified corpses, but they look kinda silly and you get a shotgun to blow their heads off, but the earrape from blowing off about 10 heads in one shot just makes me chuckle. But these fuckers, that specific part of the level where you have to retrieve a disc and fight off a bunch of these guys in that room, with the alarm blaring, that used to give me nightmares way back when I was a kid. And so did this cutscene. Didn't help that my disc was (and still is) scratched so the cutscene volume would skip 50% of the time and just make it even more uncanny.
Their screams are funny especially Sgt shivers (the guy at the back)
The scariest part about this cutscene is that the zombie looks exactly like Nikolai. It's like he's seeing his future, and it's come to kill him.
According to the wiki the zombie is named Private sand and all the privates look like Nikolai and all the sergeants look like shivers XD
