I'll never forget the first time I got to this mission. I had gotten the game for GameCube after trading some Yu Gi Oh cards with a friend in school. When the music kicked in and I saw the zombies, I was delighted and frightened at the same time. It was 2002, I would have been around 7 at the time. The thing that stood out to me most of all was the music. I used to load this level just to listen to this song. Damn. The things I would do to go back to those days. 29 years old now, working a career, moving my life to the next level. I'm almost the same age my mom was when I was born. It's crazy how time flies. Anyway, I'm done with my rant. Song is dope.
A neat detail to note is that when you quietly approach the Undead Priests at the main altar where the Time Crystal is, you can see them performing the sign of the cross with their hands. Guess even the undead desire salvation…when they’re not trying to kill you.
Same, I was so terrified of this level, that I could barely move forward. Looking back as an adult the level is not even scary , it probably was just the music

I remember playing this back in the day on my PS2; this track was my favorite.... because I like some classical music...and organs in baroque from composers like Bach.....I would have like to have him write some music for Castlevania titles.... anyway, TS2 was and still is an awesome game....
It's because this song specifically encapsulates the struggle of good vs evil within all of our souls. Even the Undead Priest is hoping Jesus Christ of Nazareth will save them.
