A beautiful tale for a winter season. Soft and snowy, warm and cozy. Perfect for listening on a chilly night with a cup of tea. The narration was just as I like it, the spoken words moved along at just the right pace, not too fast and not too slow, and each word enunciated beautifully. Snow White and Rose Red was an absolute favorite as a child. I inherited my Father's brunette coloring while my sister is fair like Mother. I thought the fairy tale was a reflection of my family. I'm so glad you like Jessica's voice. I love it, too. And there are lots of authors trying to create audiobooks, many have gone over to using AI because it's more affordable than hiring help. An audiobook that's 3.5 hours long usually costs about $1,000 to produce. My longer books are obviously double and triple that amount. And then places like Audible only give us a tiny cut of the royalties. So, AI is inexpensive and might be the only way some authors can ever afford to create an audiobook. Anyway. That was probably TMI. Ha. Thank you for you enjoying the book!

Depends. What did you like about it? An unusual setting? There's one set on an island - Saving Miss Everly. Or the retelling aspect? Letters for Phoebe has a You've Got Mail spin!
I get the need for commertials in order to listen to audio books but honestly do they need to have them last SO LONG when you are TRYING to relax and maybe even fall asleep. Nothing like a seriously long political commercial when your trying to escape stress. It's 3:00 am, give it a rest TH-cam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes! I specifically based this Regency on that story. It's one of my favorites and never gets retold the way things like Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella do!
She had passed away long before then, which was one reason the father wanted to stay in France. It's a very brief mention at the beginning of chapter two.

I get the need for commertials in order to listen to audio books but honestly do they need to have them last SO LONG when you are TRYING to relax and maybe even fall asleep. Nothing like a seriously long political commercial when your trying to escape stress. It's 3:00 am, give it a rest TH-cam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! I specifically based this Regency on that story. It's one of my favorites and never gets retold the way things like Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella do!

She had passed away long before then, which was one reason the father wanted to stay in France. It's a very brief mention at the beginning of chapter two.
