That was a sweaty flight - holding tight formation ( I was in the Spit with stripes & yellow leading edges next to it... I feel there's a need for a community livery pack! ) on that pink P38 who liked ot announce turns after starting them :D Was a good flight! thanks for setting it up.
@@ukjim_sim cheers mate. I tend not to broadcast the chat because people come here to relax and have a laugh with friends rather than have their conversations sent out into the internet but at least I wasn’t talking! 🍻😉
I wish I could have joined you ...but MSFS has frustratingly disabled my HOTAS once AGAIN by losing the settings. Which brings up this question if I may? I use a Saitek/Logitech X-56 H.O.T.A.S. & rudder pedals. It has NEVER lost the settings for DCS or the less complicated flying games like Aerofly or Wings over China. The settings are always intact. However, almost every time MSFS makes a change or an up-date ...the settings are lost or have gone funky & do other things that I've never made a binding to. I've even deleted the other profiles, so I do not have a conflict of a button being "double binded". Lately I ran Beta 12 & the issue occurred ...I went back to version 11 but all HOTAS settings have been lost & some buttons will not accept a bind to the original task assigned???? It almost seems like the button is dead. (it isn't) Is there a way to SAVE the MSFS HOTAS settings that will not be corrupted by MSFS?
Wow that sounds very irritating to have to deal with. It’s not something I’ve seen myself. Why not head over to our Discord. We have a great community help channel in there and some very clever, knowledgeable flight simmers who might be able to offer more help. My guy feeling is that there is probably an xml file somewhere that you could make a copy of as a backup.

Hey great having you there Richard.
Well at least I announced them ! 😂
You did a grand job considering you stepped up to take lead with no prior planning from me!
Nice to see my DC-3 made it into the video! Great stuff 😊
Yes it’s a shame I didn’t see you in the air! Love that livery. Great to have you along
Enjoyed watching, thx for sharing!
Many thanks!
Loving the formation shots bud. Looks like you all had fun. The scenery around Iceland is fab too. Take care mate
Cheers fella!
Great video, was a really enjoyable flight.
Great to have you along!
Flying irons do such amazing work would love them to do a P51 and Hurricane at some point
Couldn’t agree more. This sim is crying out for an A2A quality P-51
@@Dreamsofwings and a Lancaster!
Lovely to have a video without comms and music. Well done.
I prefer the comms and music, it was something I missed in this tbh - would have been cool to have heard the lads having some good old chatty fun 😂

@@Dreamsofwings yeah understand that bud, you still get creating them great vids of you and your commentary 👍
@@ukjim_sim cheers fella

How do you get planes to appear as what they actually are when you are a different plane to someone else as it just appears as a default for mr
If you have the same plane as them and the same repaint then you will see them. If not then they could be whatever Asobo decides!🤣
@@Dreamsofwings haha yeah very true 🤣. I was trying to be a spit and the other person was a bf109 and I had the bf109. Oh well!
Are you still using grass monkey ir head tracking ?
Certainly am!
Amazing videoing … no idea how you have time ! How do you get user names so small and able to flick on/ off like that ?
Thanks John! I use Parallel 42’s Flow which has that as a feature
