I've build one, and although FT1 instead of S model, I think the issue is the same : you only have very little space to go with a small pinion (if you want an FDR of 5 or more f.ex), because the motor will hit the spur carrier, with plenty of room left on the motor mount itself. I ended using a larger 48 dp spur of 82 (equals a 110 in 64 dp) to get almost were I wanted. But a design flaw nevertheless if you want to run 13.5 with pretty high kv, a HW v3 f.ex, that like to rev but with a little less torque

What KV rating would you recommend for this kit? ill be doing both fast and technical tracks. I was thinking around 6900KV but I'm not sure what would be ideal!

Hey Felix, would you recommend the Xpress XQ1S as a AWD budget touring car kit? I would love to get into racing touring car. I only have experience with off-road rtr at this point.

I have seen a couple of those chassis from up close. they are currently the best bang for the buck, price/value ratio is great ( I'm not affiliated to them any way).

Where can you buy one in the U.S? What weight diff putty did you use?

So is it a good kit to start with electric 1/10 touring? How about reliability? Is it robust enough to take some hits from a beginner? I heard that FWD are far easier to drive than 4wd I know you sad it’s easy to drive but then again you’re not a beginner 😉
